Place seemed really clean. The only issue we had was waiting for food it took ages!

The worst pool I?ve ever been to. Absolutely packed, using tired and battered floats, filthy floors and cold murky pool water (doesn?t help that there?s people walking around in the footwear they arrived in) should be like Skipton where you have to take your shoes off before you enter.. Lasted less than 5 mins in the pool it was that bad. Couldn?t pay me to take my children there again, I?ll be very suprised if we?re not ill from our visit!

Just wanted to leave an excellent review - thank you so much to the lady behind the counter for being so kind and considerate. Went swimming with my partner, his grandson and my autistic non-verbal 4 year old granddaughter. I asked if she had any tips or hints on helping with my granddaughter - she first told me I got a reduction in price as I was considered her carer and actually took me to the family changing rooms. I said that I could be out within 5 minutes as wasn't sure how she would cope with noise levels. She said she would offer refund if that was the case. She even checked up on us later to see if we enjoyed ourselves. Needless to say my granddaughter absolutely loved it. Going again tomorrow!!!!

Good fun but definitely showing its age. Grubby, rusty, smelly shower area, cracked tiles and grout in the pool - needs a lot of therapy. Having said that, the cafe is cheap and the food is reasonable. The slide and wave machine are brilliant fun and the staff are great.

It's just like leisure pools when I were a lad except without all the slides and rides and excitement. They turn the wave machine on twice an hour like a throwback to Blackburn or Bolton water place in the 1990s. They have a slide and a waterfall which is nice for the kiddies but by the time you've queued up the hour you get between 12.30 and 1.30 is gone . If s an unusual pool. It doesn't get deeper along the length, but along the width, like they built it sideways which again is alright for the kiddies but it's in Nelson, which, well, Nelson innit and the pool floor and steps are really , really slippy

Excellent value for money to entertain kids, cafe is reasonably priced. Only 4 stars as kids would have loved more slides but definitely a great place for a few hours fun.

This pool area is filthy, smelly, and a complete health hazard. The stench of urine hits you the moment you walk in, and the floors are covered in grime and sticky messes. The bathrooms are even worse ? overflowing with dirty tissues and a smell so revolting it made me gag. To make matters worse, the staff, who were not only incredibly rude and unprofessional, actually told us to pick tissues out of a urinal ourselves instead of doing their jobs. This is beyond disgusting and humiliating.
On top of that, the staff displayed racist attitudes, treating us with open hostility while being polite to other guests. It was shocking and completely unacceptable. The food was just as bad ? dirty, smelly, and looked like it hadn?t been cooked or handled with any hygiene standards whatsoever.
This place should be shut down by health inspectors immediately. I wouldn?t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay far, far away!

Warm and welcoming, well organised,clean and excellent Vale, Pendle Wavelengths is an excellent destination for all, young and old. The temperature is well controlled and makes the experience very pleasant whether in or out of the water. The regular wave sessions are signalled well in advance and gentle enough to be fun whilst being big enough to make for an exciting experience. The slide is popular with everyone, with a brilliant splash pool at the end. Lifeguards are well drilled and help to make the experience safe without being g in your face at every last thing - just right to be fair. You can order food and drink right by the pool. Although it is very popular, it never feels too busy, and the standard of facilities and staffing help to make everyone feel relaxed and happy. A big RECOMMENDED from me & the family. Give it a go!
