Shockingly slow customer service only been twice and iv wasted 1 hour waiting each time, no privacy, the place is grubby too, everyone's stood so close to each other I can smell someone's breakfast

Never anything good with this branch! You read one thing online then are told completely different in branch. This is the most unhelpful bank I've ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Staff don't seem to care (a you need us more than we need you attitude of staff seems to prevail).Once I've finished dealing with this bank I will never do again!

Staff are knowledgable and always helpful. 2 friends and hubby and 2 of my kids now bank here too on my reccomendation. Fabulous all round.

Went into the branch waited 10 minutes at the help desk to finally get to my turn and the woman behind the desk to be very rude and condescending and told me what I already knew wasted my time I?m just gonna change banks.

Updating this. Went into the bank to take some money out as I lost my card. Was treated like garbage by some thin, frail manager. Who told me to leave as I didn't havethe right ID to hand. He demanded my passport and council tax letter. I had my drivers license and water bill with me. Which I felt was sufficient. As driving license is an accepted form of ID everywhere and water bill having my name and address on it. Dated within a month too. Anyhow I was made to feel embarrassed and humiliated for no reason. To add to insult have been told they closing my account down. All for loosing my card and going in to take my money out.

What a positive and most helpful bunch of people. Made so welcome, apologies to EVERY customer for waiting during these challenging times. If you?ve got an issue they will go out of their way to help. What a contrast compared to BARCLAYS in Burnley.

The "help desk" is usually unstaffed (or there's a long queue). Otherwise good with friendly counter-staff. If you need help with something go to the Burnley branch which always has someone on the help desk.
