Bought a new build from Sandway Homes and Barnfield Construction at the end of October 2023. We immediately created a lengthy snag list for them to deal with. Their paperwork clearly states that a maximum of 90 days to complete non-urgent works. Almost 5 months on and the jobs are still outstanding or have been completed to a very poor, unacceptable standard. Their communication with their customers is extremely poor. Multiple neighbours on our site are complaining. I have all the paperwork and photographic evidence. They don?t care about their customers, their communication is appalling, the after care is non existent. If you are considering purchasing a property from Sandway Homes I would suggest that you knock on a new home owner and ask for their experience, then you can make an informed decision if you want to buy or not.

This company show scant disreguard for residents of harrison drive they agreed with council planning that heavy vehi les would not use harrison drive above the slte entrance to access the roundabout with birtwhistle we have contacted them on several occasions and they asured us this would not happen in future lies not only is this still happening but large vehicles are parking just below the roundabout waiting to gain access to the site.And one of the vehicle actually discharged is load of machinery and parked them on the side of the road untill workmen from came and collected them and drove them down to the site.which by the way is at north valley.end of harrison drive and all this is happening at birtwhistle avenue end.This is a bus route and a school run and these vehicles are not adhereing to any school times.they are just coming when ever residents cars are at risk because when they park they take up half the road this company just think they can bully there way around and show no consideration for safety or residents dispicable

Lots of problems after buying new build, caused invariably by dubious workmanship. Directors not good on customer support. Staff below them turn over too quickly. Wouldn't buy from them again.

Absolute gentlemen, I am a Blackpool resident and was on Clifton street in the town right next to the new premier inn that Barnfield construction are building, and one of the managers stopped the traffic to aid me across the road as I am an elderly citizen. He was very polite and courteous I think he was called Jon, what a very nice man a credit to Barnfield construction well done and thank you.

Confronted your employee about the damage to my wing mirror today, the same man who was driving the cherry picker. He totally denied any involvement! What the HELL! What a rotten bunch Barnfield Construction are! Damaging local people's things and denying liability! Low. Can't believe the Queen gave you an MBE... Well actually I can, if you look at past awardees such as Robert Mugabe, Jimmy Saville, Chris Froome, Bradley Wiggins, Phillip Green... Tim Webber.

Barnfield Construction damaged my Wing mirror with one of their Yellow Cherry Pickers, working on an Accrington Mosque. The workers are reckless and non-accountable, their office does not reply to community issues. Watch out if they are ever in a town near you.

Endless problems, ended up just getting them to give us the money to fix everything ourselves as they were so incompetent. Discourteous and zero awareness of the concept of customer service.

If you want to be placed on hold for ten minutes by the worlds most indifferent receptionist and then have the phone slammed down on you for daring to express any measure of disquiet at the lack of the most elementary and arguably most important element of contact then Barnfield Construction is the company for you!Sadly this is an industry wide trait in construction related businesses it seems - no idea of customer service - just employ the cheapest (and preferably best looking) person you can...and if they are at best indistinct and at worse totally indistinguishable on the phone - so much the better!In this respect at least Barnfield are batting above average as you can clearly hear the lack of care in the receptionist's tone!
