Shameful that a call was made Saturday morning to cancel Mother?s Day Afternoon Tea?s, this was due to not feeling well enough following a Mastectomy on the Wednesday, told by a staff member that we could cancel and use as a credit, weren?t asking for a refund, then got a call saying the owner had overruled and had to come and collect them.Shameful behaviour, no compassion and have lost a regular customer and their friends and family.

We have been going to Ma Bakers for a very long time keep going back it is very nice not to expensive the staff are very nice to speak to the food tastes very good

Had the afternoon tea today which was lovely, a good selection of sweet and savoury! We had to take some home as there was that much, the staff are so lovely and really make the whole atmosphere of this place! We will be back for the Xmas afternoon tea ?

Dog friendly. Very friendly staff. Tasty breakfast, good quality and nicely cooked. Quite expensive for what we got but would come again. £7.99 for small breakfast (see photo)

We thought we'd try this cafe as it is quite local to us.It was ok.Partner stood for ages waiting to be served (it wasn't busy but the staff were chatting ?)The food was ok. The only option for a sandwich is an open one, messy.I had coronation chicken, the curry mayo wasn't mixed in properly (white clumps of mayo throughout), most of my bread wasn't buttered and the salad dressing was all over the coleslaw too. It tasted ok but I didn't eat it all.Both meals looked like they'd been dumped on the plates, once again the cafe wasn't busy.The coffee was nice.We didn't have cakes.

Have been going here for a year now (since we moved to the area). The breakfast is easily the best in the area and the staff are great and work incredibly hard. My week isn't complete until I've had my Saturday morning breakfast at Ma Bakers! Kind Regards, Ade GriffithsParking: Loads of space.

We love Ma Bakers. We come every month for breakfast. The breakfasts are made with the best quality ingredients. You can add extras. We always add more granary toast as it is amazing. This place isn?t a greasy spoon caff. So if you want your plate loaded with fried everything this isn?t the place for you. It?s always busy. We went on a Sunday this month and were there just after the 10am opening time. By 10.30 the place was very busy. But food and drinks came out quickly.

Delicious Manchester tart .- best ever! Visited here for afternoon Coffee and sweet treat ? spotted really tempting tart. I chose this first, then my husband copied me. Both agreed absolutely freshest, tastiest and most unforgettable tart ever.

Very overpriced for what it is Just snack meals really , no dinners like hot pot etc . Had a small breakfast each at £7.95 one had a large 1 pound extra for a slice of bacon and an extra sausage ,it was ok but no different from any other cafe to be honest the bacon was well overcooked. Saving grace was the granary toast . Pot of tea for two persons is absolute extortion at 2.95 per person ! Sorry we Would not rush back .There?s Not enough staff on to cope with anything e. g to clear tables etc so lots of plates stacked up on tables . Sorry but honestly have had better elsewhere.

Not the cheapest, but probably the best cafe in the area. Great quality food, well made and served quickly. Good selection of excellent homemade cakes and sweets. Not an easy place to loose weight in.
