We have ordered a few items online from Wickes, and had an awful experience.The delivery company doesn?t show up on the day the say they will. We received a time slot 10 mins after it had begun on the day after, at a property we don?t yet reside at. The tracking showed the item delivered an hour before they left the item.We have also tried to return an item and been given a pick up time of 7am - 7pm and they just don?t show up. We?ve waited in for separate 2 days and nothing.We also have a flush plate that has parts missing and now we?re just being ignored by Wickes.Our next step will have to be trading standards as this situation is ridiculous.I would say don?t order from Wickes online and just use the store or click and collect, but the experience that we?ve had makes me question using the company at all.

I wish that I had read the reviews beforehand. Usually I read between the lines with reviews but I should have taken them on face value this time. I ordered my kitchen and bathroom in November 22' and finally 8 months later, the fitter is booked for start of June. They took over £13k for my order and charged me twice for two kitchen appliances which then took an age to organise a return one for a refund. I kept ringing after Christmas and still they were advertising on TV for more business but couldn't fulfil the orders they already had! I lost count of the amount of times that I rang customer services and was usually on hold for over half an hour each time. The only person that was kind and understanding of the situation was Claire at the Lancaster branch. They have zero accountability but are very happy to take your money - I am already anticipating / expecting problems with the fitting and feel extremely anxious - this is not the way a purchase of this value should feel.

Great store it is. Easy to return items aswell. Plenty of stock,so you should find what you're looking for.

So frustrating when buying bagged aggregate materials and cement here. Bags are often split. Went to buy Postcrete this morning, which is advertised as being in waterproof bags. Bags on top layer of pallet were mostly punctured, so not waterproof and therefore inferior product. Sick of being covered in dust trying to sort them.This happens frquently at Wickes. If Wickes want to sell ripped bags, put them on seperate pallets and reduce the price!

Good prices on planed pine for building etc. Relatively small store, wouldn't but paint here as the selection is small and general prices higher than other large outlets.

Massively Incompetent - had a kitchen installed after 11 months wait - every cupboard incorrectly fitted - chip in work surface hidden with tile adhesive - tiles had to be removed and refitted - Floor moving wickes refuse to repair floor saying I did not prepare the sub floor before they came round to prepare the floor? I recommend you get a Kitchen from somewhere else and save yourself a load of stress.

Good control of customers under Covid conditions. Well stocked and very friendly staff. Just great to be able to go in store and pick up all bits you need - instead of faffing about on line for click and collect .

Prices have shot up on timber etc, but hasn't everything now! Nothing too much trouble for the staff either. Must be a good working environment.

Found a few items online which were in stock at my nearest store, price was good when nowhere locally had stock. After a 25 mile drive I was told the stock indicated online was incorrect for both items and I left empty handed. Was a pretty angry drive home.
