Great value for money, and good offers for vegans. Can get meals to take out - the vegan sushi is excellent and they also have vegan apple turnover at the bakery, which I can get for free with Lidl Plus when I get a coupon. Free fruit and veg when I accumulate enough of a spend too - doesn't all have to be in one shop, like in some supermarkets.

Lovely shop. Shame the security guard tends to follow you about as if you are going to steal the whole shop contents. The rest of the staff are great.

Added another * taking it to 5*. Rebuilt, expanded store. First place we go shopping every week. Great food, fantastic prices.Update. Checkout system seems to have improved, tills frequently opening & closing and we rarely have to wait more than a minute or two before our turn.March '22. Some items in short supply but nothing that's also happening elsewhere.November '23. Occasionally lacking some items but not noticeable at the moment with their Christmas stock aplenty.

Systematically too long waiting at till. Top up / lunch snack shoppers having to queue behind weekly shops makes no sense. A self-service / 10 items or fewer facility would be welcome

Lisa, the staff member there, is vile rude, ignorant thinks she runs the store. No wonder she didn't last long in asda. Worse thing is the store manager stook up for her. Shocking ..... Lancaster so much better gutted I left my youtube camera at home
