I couldn't understand this... We went at 6.10 and the pharmacy was open until 8. There was a pharmacist in the back and a woman on the till. We were the only customers in at the time. But the pharmacist told me she didn't have enough staff in to dispense my prescription safely. She told me to go elsewhere, but Asda is the late-opening pharmacy in the area, with Sainsbury's pharmacy now gone. So we were left with 15 mins to hot-foot it to Brock Street, who were closing at 6.30. But I rang them en route and they were amazing and got our prescription bagged up for when we arrived just as they were about to lock up. I don't understand Asda pharmacy -- with 1 hour 40 mins of opening left and two members of staff on duty (granted, only one was a pharmacist) -- why couldn't they safely dispense the prescription? (an antibiotic cream)

Stopped using this pharmacy after to many issues I'm sure it's not the staff but rather the system and it's a tiny pharmacy

Stood for around 15 minutes waiting to be served by a very unpleasant women on a pair of crutches, as I must have rudely interrupted their gossiping hour. She?s advised me that my prescription hadn?t been sent through and then magically found it after interrogating me. She explained that I had one prescription item that was acute and 4 that were repeat medication which isn?t actually the case, and might want to train herself on these terms before going above her post and advising patients.
She explained that this pharmacy works on a 72hr turnaround schedule on prescription, well my GP works on a 5 days turnaround on prescription. So that?s approximately 10 days to wait for my medication and probably could be dead in that time period. If she knew anything about the medication I?m on which she doesn?t so shouldn?t be advising patients, she would know that my medication can?t be stopped abruptly.

This is my regular pharmacy. Not just because of their opening times (though this is helpful!) but also I've always found them helpful and candid. Today there was a problem with my prescription, and they were helpful with getting to the bottom of it.

3 people stood waiting for over 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Had to leave and go somewhere else later as I was in a rush to pick grandchild up from school and didn't know how much longer I would have to wait to be served.

Was told to wait 30 minutes for my prescription, there was no one else waiting for their prescription in the pharmacy. I don't know if it's the staff or the sheer amount of prescriptions they had to dispense. I felt kind of sorry for the woman behind the counter initially but my empathy for her was short lived when I said I would wait and she responded with a hostile tone, not wanting to argue over it I asked for my green slip and left.
If you're like me and just want to park up and nip in to pick up your prescription, please reconsider this and allocate more time to wait, I can't give you a reason for it. The whole process is slow unfortunately.
2 years ago this pharmacy was a lot better, please go back to the way it was.

Endless waiting no acknowledgement of delay - seems to be the norm and no concern for inconveniencing customers or apologies for the wait. Staff sometimes hostile and dismissive need to improve standard of service. Changed pharmacy to a more friendly caring one.

Tried to call the pharmacy several times, but no one answers the phone. Very poor service.

Absolutely terrible experience! Been several times in the last month or so always have to wait. Today I went to collect a prescription for my partner, the woman said if you'd like to take a seat it'll be a couple of minutes, the pharmacist needs to check it. I sat there for a total of 25 minutes! When I asked her was my prescription ready!! She was oblivious, obviously forgotten about my request. We've now changed pharmacy, to a more efficient and friendly staff.

Long queues, short staffed, and poor stocks. Waited 25mins only to be told it wasn't in stock.

Honestly the worst pharmacy I?ve ever had the displeasure of using. Used to be great when Ben ran it - absolute shambles now and staff are rude and unhelpful. Tell you to order your prescription weeks in advance yet still don?t have it ready- only start looking at your prescriptions when you come to pick it up and in most cases ask you to come back in a couple of days - usually for it not to be ready again! It wouldn?t be as bad if they answered the phone so you could check where your prescription is up to or prompt them but I?ve called over 50 times in a day before now and they just never answer the phone even when they?re in there! Avoid at all costs - really not worth the stress.
