They cancelled and refunded two of my orders claiming there was an issue with the payment. I called my bank and they said there was no such issue and the payments had gone through. After waiting hours to get through to customer service they tried to convince that there was in fact an issue with my payment and that I had to call my bank again to resolve it. After a long time they finally accepted that I had in fact confirmed there was no issue with my bank so it had to be on their end, however they had already sold the items I had ordered so I would have to wait for more to come in stock if I wanted to order them again after Argos chose to cancel them the first time, one of which items wouldn?t be in for at least a week. I had also used some vouchers to pay for this so I was informed that I would get an email explaining how I can get my vouchers back, it has been a few days now and I have received no email from them. I am extremely disappointed and will never use Argos in the future. I bought both of the items I had ordered from other stores for better prices and received them from the other stores before Argos even got them back in stock.
Absolutely appalling customer service from Argos.

Tried to return an item unfit for purpose and unused, manager and staff did not understand consumer rights and refused refund. Disgusting behaviour - appalling customer service. Will avoid this Argos store in the future.

Staff no clue about consumer rights and their responsibilities. My husband tried to return a faulty product and refused a refund or exchange due to it had been fitted. No way could have known it was faulty until you fit it. Lucky I am not charging them for the damage it caused. Lack of staff training evident. Will escalate to get a refund but a waste of time and effort when a little common sense should of prevailed

I came into Argos today with my disabled son and a member of staff named jenson was pointing and laughing at him and now he?s too ashamed to leave to leave the house I want this sorting also as I confronted him he said he?d lay me out and called me lame and now I am also ashamed to leave the house

Awful customer service in this store, always kept waiting and then staff are just rude. Had problems with an order where I was given the incorrect product, I took it back was refused a refund as I didn?t have a receipt for it as I was given it incorrectly, no apologies at all from the staff and kept waiting 30 minutes. Twice I have used this store and found the staff to be rude and unhelpful particularly the supervisor. Would definitely avoid.
