Called in for a drink after work on Friday, good atmosphere, nice warm surroundings, very festive with all the decorations. Enjoyed my visit.

This pub is really special. The atmosphere when you walk in lifts your mood. Everyone appears to be catered for. Disabled , dogs, children, quizzers,karaoke. The choice of beer is impressive.The food was good. The staff helpful and friendly. A real local in its best sense.

There where 13 of us and I'd pre ordered our food a few weeks prior. When we arrived our table was ready for us and we where greeted immediately and shown our table. The manager came and introduced herself, which was lovely. I was all ready with the list of everyone's dishes so I could point out who had what, but then the staff came out and had associated the dishes with everyone's names ?? This made things so easy for me and we all felt like the staff has put in so much extra effort to make our experience enjoyable! We weren't bothered or rushed, and the staff were accomodating with any request we had. We just had the best time! Great food, great staff and a bargain!! I'll definitely be back and I'd think so will the ladies I came with ?

Visited here with friends yesterday! The food was superb. Staff super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to sue who was an absolute star who made our day!! Thanks to you and your team, keep up the fab work!

The pies were very nice filing and tasty and thanks to the bar staff will he went and grabbed us a bottle from the cellar on a busy Saturday

Went to watch the football, have a couple of drinks and a meal. Ended up having the Sunday lunch which was very nice and good about for money. Good relaxing atmosphere. Only downside is they ran out of a couple of food items but it is what it is.

After being here a few times and after reading reviews from other people I can say if you don?t have children it could potentially be a better visit but if you do have children the staff are very strict, told us they can?t cope with children this day the last day ect, very unwelcoming could be having a bad day and they act as if it?s them that should get the special treatment, fake smiles. Can tell they are miserable and the older members staff are training the younger member to be the norm of customer service, terrible and unfriendly and massively overrated, will always try to avoid this bar, hopefully one day they will have friendly trained staff, there no way you could call this a family bar

We spent the week nearby and visited quite often for food and drink. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The hospitality shown by Isla and the team was fantastic. Great pub with great service thank you so much.

What a super pub. The location is lovely- lots of outdoor space. The food is fab and the staff are so friendly. Shout out to Isla, our favourite bartender ever!

We had lunch with 3 of our friends to celebrate one of our friends 80th Birthday. The food was lovely and great value for money. The drinks were reasonably priced, too.

After a busy few days travelling with work and colleagues, we were treated to an evening out from the big boss. We were staying in a hotel local to this site and we started our ?pub crawl? here. A beautiful building, which seems to be extremely well maintained. A reasonable sized front garden, with lots of character. We had early visited another pub which had cask ale in, so we continued to drink ales at this pub also! We weren?t disappointed here either! I must say, the collage of the beer mats on the wall, was certainly a unique and effective detail, which a few of us spent observing and one of our party actually claimed to having drank at least one pint of them all, on his travels, wow! We didn?t dine here as we were dining later on in the evening. However, a few tables were dining and I must say, all that returned to the kitchen were empty plates. So if we?re ever in the area again, I?m sure we?ll visit for lunch or tea! The staff were very pleasant, I believe Sue was the manager. What a lovely person! She was extremely helpful and really dedicated time in getting to know my colleagues and I!

My mum went in there with her partner and got some grief from a local about having a ?sullen face? because he barged in front of her. The barman then starting shouting at her aswell because the man was a local!

Traditional British Pub. First visit tried the Seniors lunch deal 2 courses for £6.99 could not fault it. Good range beers and friendly guy behind bar. Our waitress was brilliant chatty and a treasure. Will be back soon. Thank you.
