Great hotel in a top location. Easy to access the sea front, local bars, shops, restaurants etc

Great place nice and clean
Lots of shops restaurants and bars nearby
10 minutes walk to the sea
Reasonable price for a Saturday night.
Will go back there
We parked 5 minutes away multi story car park cost 5 pounds for 24 hours.
There is a big marks and spencer underneath travel lodge and costa coffee.

Very polite and helpful, I managed to get a parking spot Infront of hotel. Clean and tidy, TV in room and tea making facilities. Nice powerful shower. Bed very cumfy.Will be going again.

So booked through business agency and rooms and facilities were ok. The biggest disappointment was that the breakfast basket/pot had not arrived for when I went downstairs to collect my breakfast at 7.30 am. Because of this I had no breakfast which is disappointing. Further as reception were unsure how to refund breakfast to an agency, I said email me the details and I would forward on etc, none of this happened. Now it was a breakfast, not the end of the world but it was annoying and hence the low mark. It is really important for travel lodge if they say they are going to deliver breakfast they should it is a fundermental of their service.

We stayed two nights they did not clean the room bathroom or make the bed

Rooms in the hotel were absolutely boiling, when outside was moderately warm. Our 3rd floor bedroom was unpleasant to say the least. We checked out after the first night. 2 fans don't cool a room they just circulate heat

Sam was the lovely lady that checked me in very friendly allowed me to swap to a room away from the door but the room i then go smelled strongly of wet dog and cigarettes.... also your breakfast box on does milk which i cant have .... not much I can eat out of that box a bit poor really ?
