Visited here after having a lovely walk in St Anne's with my 3 year old son. Realised my husband had a rare early finish from work and my daughter and boyfriend was in the area, called Tiggis to reserve a table. So a very impromptu visit and I wasn't dressed appropriately but nevertheless I was looking forward to our meal. On arrival we were seated and drinks order taken fairly quickly. Good start. It took around 15 minutes to come and take our order for food which was a long wait in my opinion. They brought out my sons meal quickly which was great. He ate it it no time. 45 minutes later we were still waiting for our food. We asked where our food was. The waiter went to check but still no food. We spoke to the Manager as we needed to leave but he didn't seem very worried about this or very apologetic. He did offer 10% off our meal however we hadn't received any food! The point was we had come out to enjoy a meal together. We had to leave but our daughter stayed and had her food and they kindly took our meal off the bill.

Wonderful dinner last night that exceeded expectations. We had a paté and baked squash for starter, chicken with mushrooms and a seabass with potatoes followed by tiramisu and panna cotta. Delicious food combined with attentive but relaxed service. Expectations well exceeded.

1st time at Tiggis and was not disappointed, great atmosphere, beautifully décor, great food with good choice and brilliant staff. Will definitely be back.
Wheelchair accessibility: Did not see any Wheelchair access but that's not to say there is none as I was not looking for it, best call before arrival to make certain.

Amazing and delicious food! Nice service and lovely beautiful restaurant. We enjoyed our food last night thank you. It was our second time in there and we will come again. We had a Birthday party there on a first time and everything is so tasty always. I had vegan options too so I could avoid lactose that way.

We went back to Tiggis this November, two years since our last visit. We were not disappointed. The food ws excellent still, as ws the service. For a Thursday night in November it was fairly busy but had a lovely atmosphere. We asked for two things that weren't on the menu, minestrone soup, which magically appeared and someone asked if it was possible to have strawberries and cream and they again managed our request.
Vegetarian options: I would recommend the chicken lives with peppers and chilli in a lovely rich sauce. I had 5hr cooked beef rib with mushrooms and mashed potato and wilted greens, again with a lovely rich sauce e, only negative I would have loved more of that delicious sauce.other people had steaks pasta or chicken and all reviews were positive.
Parking: There were several generous parking spots outside the restaurant, off road. We took taxi's from our hotel, so it didn't affect us.
Kid-friendliness: There were families there with small children, and they all appeared happy.
Wheelchair accessibility: I have difficulties with walking but managed a few steps with no bother, there are tables on the entrance level, and I didn't ask about wheelchair access but I'm sure if mentioned when booking they would let someone know.
