A spacious and welcoming venue, good for larger groups as it's spacious inside. There is also a large outside sitting area at the front which is sunny and well enclosed.

Heaving and loud outside. Air-conditioning effective inside. Absolutely shocking that both Men and Women's toilets - all upstairs, of course! - we're out of order. The single disability toilet downstairs was very much over-used!

Wetherspoons cheap beer and food ?

We were visiting St Annes from the U.S. and our English relatives recommended eating in JD Wetherspoon Restaurants for good food and drinks & economical. We are a family of 8 and sounded good. This restaurant/bar is spacious and had outdoor seating. The menu was extensive and great for families. It had daily specials. It is definitely a great value and the food & drinks were good.

The Trawl Boat is one of the nicer Wetherspoons, nice clean bar area, very clean seating area and the toilets although upstairs, are the cleanest I've ever seen, everything worked and it all smelled nice.

Yet again , Wetherspoons. We had tried to get into a local chippy but being the Kite Festival, we had more chance of platting fog. A friend of ours suggested we try the Trawl Boat and gave us directions. On arrival, we tried to find seating inside, but with 4 adults and 2 kids, there was no chance. We did how ever find space outside in the no smoking area that suited us. Considering how busy it was, it was service at the bar, and the food did not take too long. I was happy there was Nethergate Old Growler on and OP, but I missed the OP. The only negative on our visit was that I discovered that my granddaughter liked chicken wings, and I had to share. Thank you, we will visit again minus one granddaughter.
