Male assistant was initially helpful & chatty bringing a couple of pairs of shoes to try. Both were way too big for me. Unfortunately didn't have any smaller size in stock of another one I liked & said he could order my size to be delivered to my home, but when I said it was ok, I'd order at home (and get 10% off for a 1st order) what a change of attitude, it completely changed & he turned his back on us and it felt like we were ignored as we weren't spending. Disappointing experience.

This is a delightful department store. It's beautifully laid out with a good choice of quality merchandise. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's so nice to still have a department store like this. Sadly I don't live locally or I would be able to use more often. I wanted to buy some store vouchers as a present for someone. I rang and spoke to Gemma who was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful and she arranged for them to be delivered to the recipient by hand as they lived locally. Payment was via bank transfer. Would highly recommend visiting this store and store vouchers are a great gift idea.

Was at Blackpool on holiday and was looking for jellycats as I collect them and found this store online and took a drive there was very impressed with the store had a wide variety of different items and was very lovely inside and even though they had a small selection of jellycats I did walk away with two that I didn?t have in my collection the Sandcastle and Aruba coconut, the ladies that work there were lovely and gave me a good customer service experience. Thank you

I visited Stringers for the first time a couple of days ago. I smiled at two members of staff on the ground floor and I received a stony look from them both. I was really quite annoyed. I think you should tell your staff to be more friendly. Surely staff should be pleasant to their customers!

I was disappointed today with the service I received. I picked a bag and took it to the till. A nearby sales assistant looked at me waiting and walked away. It was a few minutes before an assistant came to serve me. The bag was off the display and stuffed with old plastic bags. This wasn?t removed. I was then told that a carrier would cost me an additional £1. I declined and the bag was pushed towards me in a most unceremonious way. This wasn?t a positive customer experience and has put me off visiting a store I have been frequenting for many years.
