Ok.
Im Not a steak person.
SO, ordered the " dirty burger"..and fries.
The burger was good BUT, GOD knows what they put on it..was INEDIBLE! Fries were like McDonald's..skinny & cold!
Starter ( belly pork was good) desert was also good.
BUT, will NEVER order the burger thing again.( £34.99) for 3 courses.
Large glass of " rose" £ 9.60!
Over rated IMO.
Glad I tried it tho..SO, I know not to go again!!!???

We needed to pack some of our chips as take way - and while he was at that - he had his hands all over the chips while packing - that is not ideal is it ?
Eventually time to pay - he drops the receipt then runs off - comes back then we try to pay - then he runs off again - then comes back to take the payment - you know how the story goes - he runs off again ?. Then time for desserts took over 20 mins - I don?t know about you but I?m sure as hell my appetite was gone at that point. And it wasn?t even a busy day ?. I left a 10£ tip hopefully it motivates him to be better to the next customer
Over all the food was great - had the ribeye, pork and the sirloin - a good deal for your money but staffing can be better considering who attended to us

Came in for a birthday meal with my partner last Sunday and all I can say is what a disappointment. As frequent visitors of miller& Carter, we?re used to the high levels of service and lush food that is normally presented as many of my previous reviews state, however this time we were sat at our table for 20+ minutes before a waitress came over. After ordering our food and drinks at the same time (as we didn?t want to be waiting for excessive amounts of time at each stage) we waited another 15 or so minutes for our drinks, to be told they couldn?t make either of them - fair enough, so we order others. We managed to eat our starters and have our plates cleared before our drinks finally arrived. Lettuce wedges and mains came out but no fresh cutlery, so had to ask the lovely food runner to grab some. Our waitress came over after we?d begun our meal with cutlery after realising we?d been left forgotten - she was focussing on the larger tables in the section. Steak was overly salty and neither myself nor my partner could finish. Plates were cleared and we were left for another 10 minutes plus with empty glasses on our tables, waiting for a dessert menu. Tables around us got happy birthday sang to, but we never received this, even though this was mentioned to staff. We did receive money off for the drinks situation, but not even an apology for the abysmal service.
This was our first night out alone after having a child, so stress levels were high enough as is, but this was a total disappointment and ruined the whole experience.
Have to point out the wonderful food runner (young lady with long blondish hair and glasses) who absolutely saved us from walking out. Think we?ll be off to the poulton one next time.

Set menu price for 2 courses tempted us, however you have to pay extra supplements for ribeye and fillets which was dissapointing. We went for ribeye which I must say was cooked to perfection. The interior decor is tired and requires a refurb. The service was good.

A lovely evening spent with family at the St Annes Miller and Carter !
It?s a really enjoyable experience in lovely surroundings anyway, but it?s not just the lovely food that stars!
The staff are amazing!
Several times we have had Lauryna as our waitress and she is just so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu !
She is welcoming and professional and always adds to the pleasant experience!
Any queries are swiftly dealt with and we always leave feeling we have been valued as customers!
And did I mention the food?. Mouthwatering!!!
