“Good medium sized supermarket. Great for the more unusual and difficult to find premium products. Nice coffee shop too. Parking spaces are a bit tight for larger vehicles. Two 50kW EV chargers at the back of the car park (inc. CHAdeMO)”

“Excellent, staff with very little exception really go out of their way to be helpful. You can even call the store directly, a true rarity nowadays....
One con though is that like virtually all retailers they are continually moving stock around and changing shelving placements, which for me personally doesn't encourage me to shop more at all, just frustrates me to the level that I may just leave, June 2025 have dropped a star due to repeated major supply chain management issues, even following the apparent opening of a new n improved distribution centre?”

“Good size supermarket with a wide selection of groceries at great value prices. The store is clean, well laid out, and usually well stocked. Staff are generally helpful and friendly. The outdoor car park is convenient, though it now has parking restrictions in place, so worth keeping an eye on the time when visiting.”

“Excellent supermarket. It's not very big but is packed with a diverse selection of products, and I was able to get everything I needed. Added to this is the cafe, really nice choices of food and drinks and plenty of seating. And if that's not enough there's a gallery wine bar to relax in before or after your shopping expedition - awesome!”

“The place is lot better then before and the manger is very nice, and helpful, that’s only because the old staff no longer here. The old staff and the manger wasn’t nice people, and found them rude, thankyou”

“Good selection of products and always clean and well organised. Staff are friendly and helpful, and you can often find some great special offers. Free underground parking is available, which is really convenient, though it would be even better if there was a sheltered walkway between the car park and the supermarket entrance. Other than that, it’s a great local store for a quick and affordable shop.”

“My local store is amazing.Always smiling and chatty, helpful staff.I haven’t seen one bad staff member from using this store from about 2010, when I moved to this area.I’m leaving a review as a thanks and especially for keeping open all the way through the pandemic even with all the fears of the unknown.”

“Brilliant food store. Only negatives are it's a very cramped M&S Food store, as is the car park. Don't go in the car park unless you want Mrs Goggins to bump your car.”

“Good sized local supermarket with a great range for everyday essentials. Scan as you shop and self-checkout options are available. ?

Free indoor parking is a real bonus, although it’s worth noting that you do still need to cross an unsheltered area to get from the car park to the store, a sheltered walkway would make a big difference, especially on rainy days. ?️

The store also includes an Argos collection point, customer toilets and a Sainsbury’s Bank ATM outside.

Despite being a smaller Sainsbury’s branch, it’s still well stocked with kitchenware, pet care, cleaning products, baby essentials, clothing and seasonal plants. It’s also one of the only supermarket chains that stocks peach nectar juice. Handy, clean, and well laid out, great for a quick shop.

✅ Scan as you shop and self-checkout available.
✅ Free indoor parking (but no shelter between car park and store).
✅ Argos order and collection point inside.
✅ Sainsbury’s Bank ATM located outside.
✅ Customer toilets available.”

“A smaller Tesco Express in a popular town centre. A Well stocked store with most things you need. Prices aren't out of the way.Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a cash machine located outside the store. If I have one slight gripe it is with peoe outside begging and this could make some people feel intimidated. There is no handy parking, other than pay and display over the road.”

“Friendly Staff, cheap stock, Shame the ATM out front charges you, kinda puts you off the whole shop, took me a while to venture inside, I'd opt for a longer trek to a different shop.”
