Unfortunately, they have allowed irresponsible dog owners back in. Smelly dogs, barking constantly and allowing them to climb over the furniture. What about the poor people with severe allergies. Totally selfish people. Disgusting behaviour from dog owners.

Place was empty, I was the only one at the counter. Two members of staff saw me stood there, they just kept chatting and ignored me. Young girl finally came over, played with the till and ignored me for a bit longer. Finally asked what I like. Almost said "some service would be nice" but too polite for that.

Floor, tables and counter were dirty. No clean cups so had to have takeaway cups. Rude staff. Obviously rely on passing trade, not regulars.

I didn't enjoy being charged full price for a slice of cake that I only decided to buy as it was advertised at 50% off. It was nice cake, but that's not the point... only half the point.

Not the best Costa franchise I've visited! It was quite busy when we visited, but managed to get a table. Most of the usual Costa range is available.The staff seemed to be a little stressed, and to a degree, this meant we didn't get the warmest of greeting.Also they didn't serve one of the products that is advertised on the bus stop directly opposite. They had run out of a couple of products as well.I will call back in again at some point as it's convenient if you're staying at the Travelodge!

Great place for a variety of hot and cold drinks. Good selection of sweet food. Plenty of seating inside and seating outside. Very clean and staff are very pleasant.

Stood waiting at the till for a long period of time while the staff finished up talking laughing and joking around until they realised nobody is making the drinks I ordered that I paid for.
No apologies nothing what's so ever rude and ignorant.
Tables scruffy flys everywhere dirty place rude staff need to learn some manners and customer service.

Like many national chain coffee shops this place is up and down. I've read the negative reviews of others and agree, at times, queuing time is too long and toilet facilities are sub standard. I have also enjoyed good service here and think low staff numbers is more of an issue than bad attitudes. Compared to Costa Lytham up the road this is way better.Parking: Shared parking with Marks and Spencer amongst othersWheelchair accessibility: Good wheelchair access and disabled parking space right outside the door if you can get one

Busy day in Lytham and found a free table in here. Ordered our frappes, two strawberry & one chocolate brownie, all made to order by the manager. Very tasty. Clean and fresh smelling toilets.

I'm not normally one to leave poor reviews, but unfortunately, after this afternoons visit, I feel I have no choice. It was raining hard outside, but the place wasn't very busy, maybe ? of the tables were available, however most of these had dirty crockery on and the ones that didn't were almost all in need of a good wipe down. The service was below average to say the least. Having stood at the collection bit of the service area for some time, I eventually had to ask a member of staff, if the drinks on the tray were mine or someone else's order, turns out they were mine, but the young lass.hadnt seen fit to say anything. Although of the 3 staff on duty, she was the only one particularly doing anything. Just as we were leaving, some 15 mins later a staff member started clearing. I think we'll be going back to using one of the independent coffee shops/cafes on the square from now on.
