Salted chili chicken with a few thin slices of chilli loads of onions, dry no sauce. Beef cashew loads of chunky raw carrots. Served with frozen salt n pepper chip's. Not sure if same chef on that earned them award winning salt n pepper chip's obviously not. For price won't 3 be returning sorry!

I was put off Chinese food many years ago by the strange taste & somewhat soggy food. So I hadn't eaten any Chinese food for more than 50 years. But last night we had a takeaway from CHUS and it was fantastic. Everything was beautifully cooked and the vegetables were tasty and just right. My opinion of Chinese food has totally changed and I look forward to the next time.

I went with my friend the place itself was freezing by when mention to the waiter he was very rude . when we had our starters I had not quite finished and he went to take my plate when I said I had not finished once again he was very rude. both my friend and I have eaten here a lot with family and friends but we certainly won't be going back.
I recommend zen in st.annes very polite staff.

Visited for a special occasion. Unfortunately I feel I must comment on firstly the food, very very average food. My niece was so excited to have the salt and pepper chips which where poor quality oven chips with a bit of garlic and onion chopped up ?
The Gentleman serving our food was sneezing and coughing into his hands then brought our food straight out!!!!!
I'm not sure if the older gentleman at the reception is the owner? Bill almost £400 what a waste of money!!!!!
When we went to pay the bill my friend needed to see the menu and she picked up one, this man snatched it out of her hand and said that's takeaway menu! He was very rude all round. Needless to say I will never visit again!!! Shocking ?

Visited this restaurant last night after a show at the Lowther pavilion at about 9.30..
There was an excellent choice of food on the menu but after ordering we were brought the starters and main meal at the same time within moments of getting a glass of wine.
They then virtually hovered around you with the cash card machine wanting to to go so the chef could go home as they put it. We virtually felt we could ask for another glass of wine or coffee in case of upsetting them and the chef doing a ( John Cleese ) with the kitchen knife, think maybe we will go for an Indian next time.?
