Called with family for a birthday treat. The staff were lovely, the food was excellent and it was a really nice experience all round. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, many thanks.

It seems some old Dog inn comments are still attached to the reviews which is misleading and the photo is a of a different place!
We have visited several times since it opened as Hilltop Brasserie Longridge earlier this spring and we have to say the food has been excellent everytime. The menu is innovative and favourites have included the lamb encroute with duxelle and hot pot potatoes, black pudding and goats cheese in filo pastry and a very above average creme brulee and a cherry chocolate delice which would have graced a patisserie! The Wednesday to Saturday lunch menu is especially great value. Staff very friendly and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Been here twice now and once with family. Fabulous place to eat - every time the food has been top notch and the service has been brilliant. The menu is broad enough to cater to people?s tastes without being too big to be cooked well. Real ales taste fab too and there?s a a broad selection of other drinks and wine. Will be visiting again for sure!

We were staying in Longridge on holiday and the Hilltop Brasserie was at the top of the hill on the main road.
We went twice,on the first occasion we had the popular Sunday Roast one beef and one lamb, on the second it was a steak and ale pie and lamb en croute and on both occasions the food was really tasty and well presented.
Both times we had the bakewell tart , a large slice of pastry encased almond flavoured sponge served with a raspberry sauce and ice cream *****.
There was no delays in being seated, the staff were friendly and professional and made an effort to make your meal an enjoyable experience.
The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable and friendly the food and drink prices are good value for the fare provided.
The toilets were clean fresh and well maintained
If you are in the area give this place a go.

Had a fantastic lunch here today. The two courses for £20 offer is amazing value, large portions and all freshly prepared. The steak pie was bursting with meat! The childrens meals were prepared with care, a homemade burger with salad, brioche bun and chips. Really impressed with it all.
The restaurant is now very tastefully decorated, friendly service and honest prices. A massive improvement since its changed hands!
We will be back supporting this fantastic local.

We tried the new Hilltop Brasserie in Longridge recently. All I can say is ? WOW!
I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. The decor is beautiful, the staff were brilliant and very personable and the food ?. OMG gorgeous!!
They?ve currently got a 2 courses for £19.95 or 3 courses for £24.95? absolute bargain for the quality of the food!
Best chicken liver pate? ever! It was as smooth as anything. And the dessert? chocolate delice with cherries was divine!
I had:
Chicken Liver Pate
Seafood Fettucine
Chocolate delice with cherries
Hubby had:
Chicken strips
Sea bass salad
Creme brûlée
2 large glasses rose
2 diet cokes
£70? with no service charge added to the bill
It was so good we booked again for a couple of weeks time. Special shout out to the staff, especially Annette who looked after us very well.
If I?d to mention one downside; small mixer bottles of Diet Coke. When you?re driving you want a decent sized drink without having to drink the post mixed rubbish? but lots of places do it these days.
