We have just eaten at The Gables and it was absolutely delicious! We chose Beef Lasagne and Steak & Ale Pie, (they serve TWO COURSES for £12.49!!!) They were not small portions either and they were scrumptious! Both dishes were full of flavour! We cannot believe the quality of food for the price. We will definitely be back!

went after work for a pint after a rubbish shift, as soon as i walked in i was welcomed by the staff and ended up spending at least an hour chatting with the lovely loz i believe. overall the beer was perfect and the people were even better

Been coming here for over 40 years now. Heck!! Loving the refurb!! Staff as always, super friendly, attentive and efficient, Megan especially stood out today. I live outside of Leyland these days but visit monthly and always look forward to coming back here again.

Not tried the food yet, but went for a few drinks and watched a singer. New owners seem very nice, had a long chat with owners gf who is lovely(sorry can't remember her name). Very busy but a lovely atmosphere, much better than with previous owners
