Food very poor. Cold lumpy gravy. 10 peas. No filling in what is ment to be a steak and kindney pie. Shortcrust? Pastry or burnt. Who no's. No response from staff reguarding complaint. Just gave un-eaton meal back and walked away. Defo not as described.

This was a fantastic pub for drinking, with a bright and cosy interior! The green colour pattern is really nice and funnel on the wall is an interesting addition, counter is well-presented too. I had a refreshing pint of Kopparberg, appreciating the outdoor seating which was also clean!

What can I say we have been coming here my sister and myself for years , to day was ,not good we ordered fish and chips ,peas it looked ok when it came but it was not the case ,chips were like warm peas cold my fish was all hard batter ,a bit of hard fish in the middle my sister's fish was lovely white and crispy ,the manager just stud there grinning and saying they were both the same , she offered us two coffee to take out we would have insisted ,to change the food , but we had to get to Chorley hospital of 3 very very rude server who we spoke to going outy sister asked the lady who had just got herfood how was it she said not good just warm chips warm told the same person walking past with food she just grinedat what she said I would never inploy a person like her not good for the place

Great pub , staff are really good and friendly and also try there very best when it's busy . Great team of people .
Food is very good value and is quite good too ,
Massive selection of drinks and some good deals at times
Vegetarian options: There is always this option
Dietary restrictions: They always ask if you have any dietary requirements
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome , but its not a play center
Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy for wheel chairs amd a down stairs toilet too

Orded from the app turns out after waiting
30 minutes they had ran out of what was ordered came with a replacement, charged the card used on the app £4+ & then tuck the drink back when i contested!
What a waste & it was chuck away ?
I know it's only a few quid but should of been told that I was being charged rather than unlawfully taking the money with out asking.
