Always use this branch previous- unfortunately today they have changed the way they work and now printing off one transaction from the beginning of the month now means waiting for someone in a booth to be free (only 1 person working to help).
Asked why they have always done it previously for me, I was told they have changed their way of working. The only change was larger queues!
Sadly if this is the new way, I will need to transfer my bank account

Absolutely awful service,Just tried deposit a large amount of money,To be pointed towards a machine that ive tried to use in sight of the rude women behind the counter.Was then informed she was unable to accept more than 50 notes as it''takes too long''?!
2 other members of staff stood at the desk talking about their weekend plans was unable to assist me further.
Perhaps the 3pm closing time had someone a little too giddy

After leaving Southport Branch yesterday disgusted after being told I could not open an ISA in branch and no appointments to see an advisor when I said I did not want to do it online was told to go elsewhere basically. Have been with Halifax over 30yrs and have substantial savings and current account. I went into Leyland branch this morning to have one more try before closing my account. What a difference I did not get the young lady?s name who was on the counter. She was absolutely wonderful nothing
was a problem and she had sorted me out in about 10minutes with
a smile on her face and she apologised for my treatment yesterday
on behalf the bank. This will be my go to branch in future maybe you could send her to Southport to the older lady speaking to people in the Southport branch Tuesday 23rd April around 10am.
Not everyone in my age group feel comfortable doing things like
this online.

After spending ages trying to get my app to recognise my sign-in, phone calls still didn't solve the problem, I visited the branch in Leyland. The help assistant was so helpful, kind and considerate, the problem took a lot of time and effort on his part. I can't thank him enough. Just brilliant.

I?m fuming with our local branch for years my grandmother used Halifax and never had any issues she swore by the service and branch for this reason I opened an account with them online but since going into the branch the service is horrendous , long waits and only one cashier , I?ve been given wrong information and passed from pillar to post and still not getting any satisfaction or my issue resolved I?m so upset I?m going to close all my accounts and find a better banking service.

Went in at opening time of 0900am to be told counters won't be open for half an hour. What's the point of opening then!!

Still closing at 3pm despite restrictions lifting. When are you going to provide a service to working people that you advertise everywhere? Worst branch and service ever, told me to go 8 miles to nearest branch that?s open after 3 pm ,disgusting, and they tell me they are reduced hours to protect staff and customers! How is that looking after your customers in covid?

What a joke never in my life have I had my account frozen over online payment I have passwords and pins so why freeze my account been online for 3hrs still nothing get passed back and forth...not happy had to borrow money....
