Wow what a good night we had for the quiz night . We even missed the start of the real quiz as we got there too late but still got to join in on loads of fun and games . The host was amazing and we can?t wait to go back

Called today, 17th February for lunch. This was my second visit and I ordered the same meal I had on my first visit, lasagna with salad. To save words all I can say is I think it had been cooked the night before and not sold so I got reheated lasagna. It was inedible. No one asked if my meal was ok and we just left. Never to return

Great pub, old coaching house, great atmosphere, friendly staff, pool table, dartboard, good menu with loads of daily deals, and free parking... excellent, definitely recommend.

Good pub grub and selection of beers. A nice, traditional and comfortably easy pub to sit and enjoy wholesome food and drink while kicking back and relaxing. The Eagle and Child is an old pub with history and a pleasant vibe. Give it a try, pubs like this are getting rarer.

Had a pre Christmas catch up at Eagle and Child yesterday after...and they didn't disappoint. The staff and clientele are very friendly. The food was tasty honest pub grub...the cookie brownie with salted caramel was unbelievable. This is a perfect example of a great local...

The best pub in Leyland. Always had lovely meals here over the year's and today was no exception. A wonderful chef is Michael, making a delicious Sunday roast. Also Lesley and Molly are charming hosts. It's not a large pub but makes up for in charm and old world decor. A proper character venue in a very pretty part of Leyland, with a carpark across the road and close to town and Tesco. Highly recommended.

Myself and my son visited in March this year. Food fresh and lovely as usual. Beautiful building and very homely and welcoming. Most of all the lady behind the bar picked up my son is Autistic and she dealt with him amazingly. This is the first time this has happened with my son so it won't be forgotten. We had a great time playing darts and pool by the fire too. So cosy.
