Been a couple of times with work for the Christmas lunch menu which has always been fab. Came yesterday for an evening meal with my husband and little boy and again it was brilliant. Food is so good and the staff are brilliant. Really friendly/helpful but also work really hard so there isn't a long wait at the bar.

Great lunch yesterday. Venison burger & beef burger both amazing, couldn’t fault them! Staff lovely, friendly & efficient. Looking forward to a return visit in the summer when we can eat al fresco ☀️

The White Cross is situated in a refurbished cotton mill warehouse which was part of the old Storey’s Cotton Mill that was built next to Lancaster’s main canal.
We are a small independent team who have grown our business from the bottom up, by looking after our loyal customer base and providing them with famed food and ale. We use local products where ever we can. For instance, our meat comes from the Vale of Lune and the hills of the Cumbria, our vegetables from the plains of South Lancashire and our fish from Fleetwood. Over 80% of our ales ( up to 20 different rotating beers each week) all come from breweries less than 40 miles away.
