Mia was absolutely amazing. Very attentive, made two amazing limoncello spritz. Would definitely come back, only! If Mia is still here. Otherwise I will not because what?s the point. Amazing customer service, wonderful attitude, she deserves all the praise and definitely a promotion as she is the only reason I would come back to this bar. I love her. Such great conversation and an amazing bar staff. A credit to your company. Hire more Mias. I love her. Please keep her and I?ll come back and spend more money.

My favourite pub in Lancaster- a city full of great pubs. Great cask ales as well as craft beers and ciders, etc. The open mic session on Wednesdays is always top quality. Top Class!

Despite saying it opens at 12 on Friday we arrived at 3pm en route to station to find closed. Needs to update opening hours. Waste of space.

A really nice cosy alehouse. A very comfortable place to sit and enjoy a beer. On a cold winter?s evening waiting for a train I had a pint of Lancashire Blonde. A really good beer at only £4.60. Brilliant atmosphere and friendly staff.

Max was very welcoming and accommodating to our slightly drunken group celebrating a friends birthday. He went above and beyond. It was a quiet Sunday and he?s have been well within his rights to turn us away but he was fab. A credit to the establishment!

The jailors barrel has become one of my favourite spots in Lancaster. The staff are friendly and they have a great selection of drinks although I always have a moretti. I still need to try the food.
