I don?t usually leave reviews for pharmacies, but the team at Superdrug Pharmacy in Lancaster definitely deserves a shoutout.
From the moment I walked in, I was met with genuinely lovely service ? the kind that makes you forget you?re there to pick up antibiotics and not something more exciting. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a calm, organised vibe that just makes things easier.
Special mention to Elise, one of the dispensers ? she?s super helpful, always cheerful, and somehow makes even the most confusing prescription instructions make sense (which is a real skill, let?s be honest). And Reena, the pharmacist, is just brilliant ? knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly knows her stuff. You feel like you?re in good hands, which is exactly what you want when it comes to your health.
Honestly, this is hands down the best pharmacy I?ve ever used. The service is consistently excellent, and the staff are just lovely. I?ll definitely be sticking with them from now on ? partly for the top-notch service, and partly because I don?t want to go anywhere else and risk missing Elise?s smile or Reena?s helpful advice.

Thoroughly unpleasant shopping experience. Its like walking into a nightclub at 9am, ridiculously loud music interspersed with even louder store announcements. Appalling lack of consideration for neurodiversant people, or even for those rhat value their hearing. Literally couldn't think. I was going to buy a lot more but grabbed what I wanted and left. You lost about £150 today because of your awful environment.

Bought two hair dye products from here, one was produced in 2021, the other 2024. Not using hair dye that old so ended up wasting money because of the offer for buying 2. Check the boxes and when they are being produced before you pay. How it was still on the shelves is shocking.

I?m autistic and had a really nasty condescending staff member (probably store manager) short red hair who was very nasty towards me and even my mum noticed really upset me and would not visit again

The shop itself is clean and tidy and has the things you would expect! But unfortunately my mum and I had bad experiences with the staff. We went in for Biscodyl for constipation for an upcoming hospital admission and they were on offer - buy 1 get the 2nd half price. When we went to the till the lady said she can only sell us one. We said ?okay no problem but they were on offer.? She said that can?t be possible because only one at a time can be sold. We said we definitely saw it but it was clear she didn?t believe us. She shouted out to the manager who shouted back from somewhere in the store. The till lady shouted ?this woman thinks it was buy one get 1 half price but that can?t be true? and the manager shouted back ?I?ll have a look but it?s not on offer.? She then shouted back ?yes it?s on offer, it must be a printing mistake.? The lady at the till then said ?well do you want it or not? and my mum had stopped speaking so I said ?yes please.? We weren?t sure why the manager didn?t just walk over to us instead of shouting across the store, and we weren?t sure why they didn?t say ?oh sorry.? Or anything, such as ?sorry for accusing you, it was on offer after all, we shouldn?t have accused you of being the ones who were wrong.? We then tried to pay but when I tried to scan my Superdrug card she said ?you can?t scan that. Your mum is using her debit card.? I said ?okay I?ll pay with my debit card then.? (I understand the policy, it was more the way she spoke to us.) All around we just got bad vibes and came away saying we will definitely just use Boots from now on. Especially after we saw that boots had the same constipation tablets for 75p cheaper and at the tills they had friendly staff. But thankfully Boots is right next door so it?s no problem for us to go there now :) I?m sure this is a one off and that the other staff the store has are lovely!
