Cannot say enough good things about this branch, we don't live in the uk and came back for a visit. I had messed my glasses up and a staff member called Adam was able to fix them for me for no charge. It really helped us out over Christmas great customer service :)

I would just like to say what a lovely lady I dealt with this morning(9.10.23). I popped in to discuss my contact lenses and she was absolutely lovely. I didn't get her name but she booked me an appointment so I am sure you will be able to locate her from that. What a great asset she is to your team :)

Staff were very nice but the fitting of the glasses didn't go well. The first attempt was fine and it was no-one's fault that I had to go back the next day for an adjustment, but at that second one it took a while to get it anywhere near right, and I left thinking it will just have to do and maybe I'd get used to it. When I got home I realised the nose pads were much too bent and were hardly touching my nose. The next day I went to the Morecambe branch, where it was agreed the fit was awful and it was very quickly resolved at the first attempt. I'm now happy, but not that it took three people at two branches to get me there.

Super pair of single vision specs at discounted price as am on the contact lens DD system.Might be cheaper elsewhere but Specsavers always seem to be top of my list!

I went here to order a pair of glasses and to try contact lenses. The staff were nice and helpful. The opticians gave me enough information about the eye test and eye health in general. However, it would be great if the staff that was appointed to me could help me decide which frame that suited me better instead of saying that all frames looked good.

I've been with Specsavers for a long time but I'm going to try somewhere else now because I repeatedly get the runaround and don't seem to get anything resolved. I have been given repeated referrals to hospitals only to be told there is nothing that can be done or they don't want to do. They referred me for a torn retina but the retina has healed itself and St. Paul's eye unit discharged me. Despite this Specsavers still seem to want to refer me for this. They referred me for cataract surgery but I was told I'm too young for this procedure and it wasn't recommended yet. They sent me to get a freckle on the back of my retina looked at, something I've had for my whole life and only checked 9 months ago and I was asked why I had been sent in so soon after the last check. I wanted a change of prescription to help my astigmatism and so I could see better with the slight cataract but Specsavers said they can't help me with this. The opthalmic consultant at Westmoreland suggested I change opticians because it sounded like they were not listening to me or meeting my needs, so that's what I'm going to do. Being referred to Liverpool and Westmoreland means a day off often and it's expensive travel. I don't drive so I have to go on the train. I've spent a lot of money and lost wages on pointless referrals. Oh and I rild them I have 2 years supply of contact lenses solution and asked if they could not send me anymore for a while. They said they had paused the delivery for a while but I still got another 4 bottles in the post last week! They need to train their staff to listen to their clients better, I think and not be so referral happy. Maybe they should read case notes from previous appointments and the outcome of hospital appointments before wasting valuable time and money. I know they need to be careful with people's health but referring me for things I have only recently been discharged for???? Sending me for a annual scan only 8 months or so after the last one? Sending me bottles of solution when I have told them I already had 2 years supply? They can definitely do better!
