Convenient shop... I use it when I am at the Men's Hub Studio. Usually get a meal deal but there's often a nice yellow sticker option. Always find what I need. Prices are okay. Staff are friendly

Rude security guard who follows me around the store.

I don't know what the deal is with your security guy but I am sick to death of him hovering around me every time I go in, will you tell him to wind his neck in and just stand by the door with his little walkie talkie and his hi-vis vest, we get it dude, you're a big important security man, stop following me around freak

Great shop, has everything you would expect from a smaller store with the bonus of not feeling cramped and friendly staff!

Very disappointed today. Ordered a delivery from Sainsburys for between 4.30pm to 5.30pm. Telephone call at 5.45pm to say order cancelled due to ?unforeseen circumstances? ??
Offered a delivery tomorrow , no offer of refund on delivery charge ? When I pushed she offered me a voucher for my delivery charge...no.
Delivery could only be between 4.00pm to 8.00pm , sorry not good enough, going out on Saturday evening.
Had to cancel the delivery....both hubby and I are slightly disabled carrying heavy stuff is a problem.
Sainsburys...sorry I won?t be using you again.

Staff are very friendly, one of the most expensive shops in Lancaster but it's a local so prices are inflated. You're paying for convenience, otherwise can't fault it, but sometimes worth the extra 10 minute walk to the big Sainsbury's for the price difference.

Great shop

Practically a smaller Sainsbury with a more limited amount of groceries available to buy. Would recommend going to Aldi which is only 2 minutes away from here with a much better price for value and wide variety of choices

My wife went to Sainsbury's at Penny Street with my daughter and was told that only 1 person could go in side the store at one time. My wife went in alone but had to leave shortly after and not do the shopping has she suffers with osteo-arthritis and fybromyalgia. She did get a new dressing gown and some new pyjamas for our foster daughter and when paying for it she mentioned that she's not had a problem bringing her daughter before has she has health problems, my wife was then asked rather abruptly "well where is your blue badge and those are the rules" my wife very tearfully replied that "not all illnesses need a badge, what about mental health. We are all in this together and this will only work if we help everyone." With that the member of staff just shrugged her shoulders and carried on. My wife was in tears. Thanks a lot see your doing a great job!

Great little shop with odds and ends. Open till 11 on a sunday which is a big bonus when everyone closes so early.

Great service, the manager of the store with the Irish accent is a really decent guy and looks out for the homeless big issue seller and treat the big issue vendor very kindly and compassionately and runs the store brilliantly.
