All in all a good experience. They kindly informed us we could store our bikes in the room, though there were also Sheffield stands outside. Bathroom was modern and clean, yet a couple of minor things needed attention. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and decent.

I dont often write a review, but i believe good reviews are often not made.
We have used a lot of premiere inns over the years but this one gets my best review.
We booked a family room and then needed to extend it by a night. Whilst the website couldn't manage it, the staff onsite on the phone were incredibly helpful and enabled us to sort it out.
When we arrived very late, reception were polite helpful and knew about my weird booking and offered helpful information.
Our room had a welcome postcard and some sweetie gifts for our children.
The tea and coffee refills in reception were a great idea (for a serial tea drinker).
It was clean and comfortable and only a few mins drive from the city centre.
Road noise was minimal.

Only called for a cuppa due to going to the vein place close by. The toilets were very poor, and the wife said the ladies were the same.

Bed bugs in this hotel, avoid. Also couldn't get a response to any of my complaints about this so they clearly have no interest in fixing the problem

Our room was ok but smelled like damp, black mould around one of the units on the wall. the assistant at reception was extremely helpful and did some additional cleaning while we went to get food. If you're on the side nearest the road then it is really noisy. There is a mouse trap by the vending machine in the reception area. It was close to the M6 though and easy to get to.

We enjoyed our stay here, staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and spacious. Our room had an older climate control which I hadn't come across before. A ventilation box which drew air in from outside and a climate control thermostat which I assumed worked the older style storage heater. Temperature was fine for us overnight so I didn't bother spending time working out the 2 different systems. Walking outside the hotel of a morning to access Brewers fayre for breakfast we really enjoyed those moments of fresh air before breakfast. Clean hotel, large car park. The hotel is closeish to park and ride into the city centre.

Had a good experience here. Fairly typical premier inn. All good. Eat at the attached brewer?s fair pub. All ok typical pub grub.
There?s a bus stop right outside where the park and ride buses stop. Good to get directly into the town.

The hotel itself was great, along with the reception staff. It had been a very hot day and unfortunately the rooms had no air-conditioning.
The breakfast experience next door was poor, thus the 4 stars for service. The female greeter it appeared was far too busy, and it felt like the customers were an inconvenience to her at best? The male server although polite clearly only just managed to get to work after picking his shirt and trousers out of the washing basket as to how creased and scruffy looking they were. I wasn't looking for silver service but the whole Brewers Fair building felt grubby unfortunately which didn't reflect well on the Premier Inn.

Service is good but come on guys you need air conditioning as is promised in the google check list. Especially in summer!
