“This is a really fabulous place. The food is excellent with home made soup that is genuinely home made and fresh scones baked every morning. Service is quick and friendly and there is a relaxed feel to the rooms, which together with the care taken over the food is a real winner. Coffee is good too.”

“Great flat white! 4 out of 5 flat whites I get are too milky, not as the FW was designed. This one I could taste the coffee and the milk. Lovely people running the Post Office too. Very cheerful and welcoming.”

“Small post office on the Uni. Friendly helpful staff. All the normal PO services available. Only problem is you have to park a little way from it and walk but thats no reflection on the PO itself. Never really busy so get served quickly. Also take cash deposits into your bank account.”

“What an amazing place this is!!The staff are always efficient, obliging and friendly. The shop is so well stocked with practically anything you could want at competitive prices too. Opening times for both the shop and the Post Office serve the community and wider community brilliantly. Just a fabulous service all round. Thank you.”

“Glad they took over from the post office closing down, much easier to access especially with it being open late and not just standard working hours. Typical corner shop and mostly friendly staff.”

“Thank Goodness for Josh!!I sent a parcel and the delivwery card was put through the wrong address by mistake. That person tried to pick up the parcel but fortunately because Josh was on the ball he would not release it as the ID did not match.Well done Josh and thankyou as it was a very expensive guitar that you made sure went to the rightful owner. Top marks!”

“I used to hate going here years ago. Always massive queues because they used to take about 10 minutes to find your parcel... rooting through various boxes only to eventually find it sitting on some random shelf somewhere. Totally disorganised. Then the staff were mostly quite rude and grumpy.Fast forward to present day and the place is well organised, always staffed by friendly, helpful staff and I'm usually in and out in a couple of minutes. My only gripe is the lack of parking but I guess there's not much Royal Mail can do about that. It's in the middle of town and they need their parking for their operational vehicles. It's all double yellows round there so you take your chance and hope there's no wardens about. I usually combine a visit with a trip to Sainsburys, which is only 5-10 minutes walk away and you get free parking when you're doing your grocery shopping.”

“The Post Office is now upstairs above WH Smith. It's more efficient than the old main post office, but there is still occasionally a ten minute queue. When I had a complicated order involving a money order and a label for a return by special delivery, the whole process was handled in a friendly and efficient manner.”
