I had been offered an interview for here and was unable to make the date of which I had been offered due to personal reasons and so went in to the shop to ask if I was able to have a different date and was told my the manager (Lydia) that there was no way I could change the date and that they had other people going for the job anyway so it didn?t really matter to them that I couldn?t make the date. She wasn?t helpful in the slightest and stated that I would only get another date if no one else was good enough for the job. I definitely would not apply for a job there in the future as they are most certainly not very understanding of personal situations. The service and the way I was treated was quite simply appalling.

The usual Greggs seection in the centre of Lancaster. A few tables outside for those brave enough to risk Lancaster's weather :) but no indoor seating.Parking: Indoor payable council car park round the corner from Greggs

This review is based upon my own experience. I was visiting Lancaster and had went to the Greggs store to buy some food. Staff member Gregory had served me and accused me of receiving the food when he didn't even give it to me. This situation was appauling and I have never experienced this terrible service in my life. I was discriminated by Gregory and then when I tried to speak to another member of staff Dan he was rude and unhelpful. After a lady came along saying I'm the manager she was so rude and had so much attitude her name is Lydia and was aggressive with me saying why I'm shouting? I was not shouting I was firm in my language and even if I had shouted which I didn't I have a right because you lied to me and accused me of taking the food. I said you have accused me of receiving the food when I don't have it? And now instead of apologising you lied and then say I'm shouting to cover your mistakes? Lydia your management skills is so low and you need to learn how to speak to humans. This was a shocking experience and sicking behaviour from all the staff. I was discriminated by all the staff and accused me of having the food which I paid for and I ended up leaving without my food! Is this what the world has come to? You treat customers who pay like this? I would never recommend anyone to go to this Greggs I was so shocked because I know this is not the normal standard of the company. All I will say is that how you treat people it will surely come back to you and God is witness. Truth!

I do use this greggs as the meal deals are good value, tea is cheap and staff are very friendly but the publuc used places are always filthy with dirty tables, disgusting bins and rubbish strewn and stained pavement and that's the reason why i marked down the stars.
