Spacious pub with decent food and drinks. Come here for big Sunday football match but it isn?t that busy. Good place to watch the game!

Walked into Lancaster from edge of City ( I'm disabled so walking is hard work) looking for somewhere to sit down and have a bite to eat, saw the sign for a lunch deal and went in. Girl at the bar taking orders was very friendly and helpful so I decided to order. Sat outside to cool down, service was prompt, friendly and efficient. When the food arrived, burger with chips and onion rings looked very good, chips were nice without blowing me away, burger was delicious with plenty of cheese and the burger sauce with pickles was sharp and tasty, very good burgers and the onion rings were absolutely top, crispy outside and melting inside very very good, would definitely recommend. Cant complain at all about food or service and I only saw one member of staff but she was excellent and would most definitely go here again if ever in Lancaster again.

The only place your feet don't stick to is the toilets ... use more soap in your mop bucket Floor's are disgusting

This is a friendly pub, great relaxed atmosphere through the week. Haven't been in of a weekend so can't comment on that.
Bar staff are great, Kaitlin is so attentive. Even though I'm an occasional visitor every few weeks she remembers what I drink which makes me feel like I'm important.
It's clean and tidy. Tables are always cleared quickly.
Prices are extremely reasonable. Cheap in fact. My go to pub in Lancaster.
Rate this pub highly. Of course I'll be back soon.

Had a fantastic time when I went to the Crafty Scholar this weekend. Luke and Eden served me and were very polite and helpful when I had questions about the drinks and menu options.
I ordered the Katsu Chicken Curry with rice and peas and it was delicious! Would definitely recommend for families or for groups of varying size, and the drinks were good value as well. Thanks Crafty team!
