Great for retro collecting. I don't know what it is about Lancaster, or this particular CeX, but they always have some interesting retro games on the shelves. Haven't had a fake or dud yet, either.

No bother buying things from all CEX shops. I understand the laptop I bought was quite old. However, I thought it would atleast run smoothly for it to help me with my gcses. However when I got this computer it didn?t allow me to do anything apart from search things up on google. You can?t use the App Store as it doesent allow you to update the laptop and it doesent even allow you to watch Netflix. This laptop cost me 250 pounds and when I tried to return I was told that because I opened the laptop I was not able to return it. Then they said that I can sell if for 25 pounds to them. Don?t buy anything from here

04/02/24 bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the PS4 solely to play 2 player split screen offline with my child in Lancaster. It?s an advertised on the box as 1 or 2 player offline and has been easy to use on earlier versions. Little did I know that it?s now next to impossible to play 2 player split screen offline anymore due to bug/glitches/how it was designed, and this has now been widely known as an issue on the internet. I outlined to the staff and manager on 6/2/24 I wanted a cash refund. Staff ID on receipt 59767. Told them about the misleading packaging. Totally uninterested. Effectively tried to justify just giving me a voucher by gaslighting me with nonsense about how this is a different game, it does actually work, the advertising doesn?t mean what it did on every other version, anyway it?s not a CEX problem. But basically totally uninterested and indifferent to anything I was saying. Appalling. There?s your voucher goodbye kind of thing!

Bought an electric scooter, the girl was very helpful as I asked alot about the guarantee any problems which are covered etc. she gave me peice of mind and the scooters been fine .

Not the cheapest but that 2 year guarantee is a clincher. Nice staff, too.but everything I've bought has been super and its nice to see what you're buying before paying. Unlike buying used online. For sure, I'll be back!

Useless. Bought a game from them Monday, didn't work. Got it replaced. Didn't work again. Do they actually test the games before selling them? In fairness staff were friendly.
