Best of the branded coffee shops in Lancaster, friendly staff, can often be a wait due to the queue. Only criticism is that there needs to be more seats, but that's not really a fair criticism. One of my regular go to coffee spots and hard to beat.

Karina, a barista at Caffè Nero, is always a delight even in the early mornings. She is very thoughtful and gave me a sleeve for my cold drink I was taking away as it was a freezing winter morning. I didnt even need to ask which just shows how she goes above and beyond. I?m always very pleased with the drinks she makes me and I hope she gets recognised for all the hard work she puts in and what a genuinely nice person she is !!!

Not bad for a coffee shop, however very busy, service is good and staff are friendly, they serve food hot and cold sweet meats are available there is a w.c access for disabled is ok,no change except it's just as busy, enjoy

Good enough coffee shop that I frequent quite often. However, service is incredibly slow. I don?t think I?ve had a visit where I?ve been served and received my drink within 20 minutes.
They always seem short staffed and seem to prioritise Just Eat and other online delivery platforms rather than their F2F customers. Things need to change here.

I always find cafe Nero to be a bit dirty. The staff are pretty disengaged, but that's just because they seem to always be extremely busy.
Good food usually, though like many coffee shop chains, they seems to be reducing the filling levels. In sandwiches and cake size.

Kind staff and good quality drinks as per usual with Caffè Nero!
Dietary restrictions: They offer milk alternatives such as Oat Milk.

Came in today to buy 4 drinks to take out,which we do quite often.
Was greeted by 2 very young polite girls, who were no more than 18.
The young girls were in training (by their labelled tops).
Clearly these girls were left alone to run the place,which was extremely short staffed and extremely busy.
The tables outside,and inside ,were full of dirty used pots,which by looking at the ,que, the girls did not have time to stop serving on the counter to clear.
The young lady that served us was becoming very upset to the point of shaking,as was not trained enough to be left with her colleague on the counter and unsure what to put in various drinks.
2weeks training she had been given!
The young girls were running around and making mistakes with drinks(which is understandable).There was no other member of staff for them to follow as he was having a break!!!!
After the man in charge appeared,I mentioned to him that the girls were upset,and more staff were needed to cover his break!!
His reply was ?I?m entitled to a break!!!
I was told ?this is happening everywhere very abruptly.
He did not have the slightest bit of empathy for the girls,and for his customer care let?s say?it left a lot to be desired,maybe he needs serious training in this department!!!
Well done girls you both stuck it out and my heart went out to you both.
The place was a complete shambles today due to no staff.
Maybe new management is required in your Lancaster store!
