Perfect little brunch place, staff were really friendly and polite. My boyfriend and I both got little breakfasts and it doesn't look like a lot to some but it was the perfect amount of food for us.
We also got a vanilla iced latte and an orange juice, tap water is readily available in bottles by the counter which is always appreciated.
On the way out we grabbed a cinnamon bun and red velvet cookie, because they just looked too good to not try. And I can confirm after trying a nibble of both that they are so tasty.
We are visiting from York but if we visit Lancaster again we will 100% be back ?

What an absolute top drawer cafe / brunchery.
Lovely vibe, creative menu, nice specials and friendly staff.
It has a little outdoor area too if the water is clement or you are hardy.

I ordered a large coffee (Americano) and it was very small. It was smaller than a regular coffee you would get in say Costa, Neros or Starbucks but it was almost £4. It is an Independent so I get they have higher costs to cover but it is beyond my budget so I won't be back. I will stick to Neros or Herbarium. They seem to do nice cakes and there were vegan options but I didn't have any. It was quiet when I went in, so hard to judge atmosphere and the man who served me seemed a bit like he didn't want to be there. Maybe he was having a bad day. A friendly smile would have gone a long way.

Great breakfast options and excellent sandwiches! The acoustics isn't great inside but the food and the coffee is worth it! Also there's a garden at the back! One of the very few places I'd buy coffee in Lancaster!

We dropped in for a coffee break on-route to Liverpool. And it was a very worthy detour for a good cuppa. I had the Brazilian decaf in a flat white and was blown away by the coffee quality - it was creamy, hazelnuty with a good orange fragrance. I had seldom come across a good quality decaf with Brazilian beans. Guess this was my lucky day. The 2 ladies were very kind to sell me some, then packed and taped them up in 2 disposable cups (?cause that was all they had). Thank you both ?

A must visit for Speciality Coffee and delicious food. Always a fantastic retail shelf, with an ever changing variety of beans from epic Roasters, both local and afar. Also, everyone here is lovely!

Small, cosy, great food, coffee and service. Dog friendly. French toast options are amazing! My favourites have been the key lime French toast or the summer fruits one. Delicious!
