A little odd. Was booked in here for a family birthday celebration. Around 17 in total with some younger children who all just ordered the chicken nuggets option. On arrival we were seated in the conservatory whilst the rest of our party arrived - we each ordered a drink and they were brought around 10 minutes in and we were all handed a menu , after around 20 mins they came back to take everyone?s food order , before we were seated at the table. A few of us ordered poppadoms and naan bread as a starter whilst others ordered individual plates and we gave what we wanted for our main course.
When we were seated at the table, the chairs and spaces were very close together despite the fact the whole area in which we were seated was empty so felt silly to cram us all on two tables of 6 !
The popadoms were already out on the table spread around when we were seated so we never actually got our individual crackers or dip even though we were still charged for this / everyone just tucked in as it wasn?t clear. Around 20 mins later the starters began to arrive but it took a good 1hr 20 minutes for any main to arrive whisky the staff stood around talking on their mobiles or starting at us with empty plates.
The main portions were small but edible. The naan bread was disgusting wet and soggy. Not sure it had been cooked. Was bizarre.
We waited longer as no one had dessert and asked numerous times for the bill. The alcohol is expensive and the food portions small for the price. I wouldn?t personally go again. I had heard a lot of positive reviews but I felt it didn?t live up to this on this occasion.

Great quantity and reasonable price. But the thing is I didn't get any authentic Indian taste

Totally disappointed I pre ordered a very large order for Christmas Day came to the day they forgot to even make my food. I rang up and got it after half an hour. The 4 curry?s were tasteless meat dry also. All starters were again tasteless and dry. The nan breads were hard and stale and were more like stale flatbreads not nann. Would never order from here again as food was awful. The only good thing was the nice delivery driver and we got free wine for the mix up with my order. I?ve eaten at some great Indian restaurants so I know my curry?s and what the food should be like this was hands down the worst I?ve ever seen or eaten. I?d give zero stars for food quality if I could so disappointed especially with it being Christmas too.

For a Christmas Day twist, I had dinner at Buraq after booking a few weeks in advance. The service was very nice with attentive staff and despite a bit of a wait for dessert, I would highly recommend going here!
