The Bell and Bottle is a fantastic spot for a relaxed meal or a catch-up with friends. From the moment you walk in, the warm and cosy atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff are polite, attentive, and genuinely welcoming ? nothing is too much trouble
The menu is varied and impressive, with something for everyone ? from hearty pub classics to vegetarian and gluten-free options. I had the steak and ale pie and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The loaded fries are also a must-try!
There?s plenty of seating, a spacious car park, and the pub is family-friendly with a dedicated kids? menu. It?s also a great venue for small gatherings or casual events ? the vibe is relaxed but lively, and the team clearly know how to look after their guests.
Highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for good food, great service, and a proper pub experience. I?ll definitely be returning!

Just been to the bell and bottle kikham for what would have been my late father's 90th birthday. There was 18 of us (varying ages), all the food came piping hot and at the same time, and was lovely.

Used to visit as a child, Mum had hunters chicken which was supposed to have crispy bacon, it wasn?t so was sent back to have the bacon crisped, the meal was kept warm while they did it which spoiled the rest of the meal, my steak was overcooked, so I sent it back again the meal was kept warm while they cooked the new steak, I was so annoyed thus made a rare complaint! I got a full fresh meal, but the meal already spoiled! The front of house staff were great, and very apologetic but couldn?t fully make up for the ineptitude of the kitchen, sorry but we won?t return!

DO NOT have the lunch menu, the portions were sooooo small, they wouldn?t fill a baby, it says lunchtime menu, it doesn?t state tiny portions!

Disappointing visit, after several visits previously. Off hand attitude from the man behind the bar although the waitress was very pleasant. Has Sunday lunch, tasty but very small portions so left hungry.

Very poor service, no cutlery or condiments before food arrived, when asked for cutters the waitress snapped at me and said I get it once all the food is out, food going cold outside while waiting for cutlery, gravy for the children was lumpy and inedible, the two burger meals did not have the side salad, coleslaw or the burger sauce, when asked where it is the waitress said they don't have any and thes was not said to us before serving the meal and no substitute offered, once food was served no one come out to ask if the meal was OK where at this point I would have said no. Waited for over 30 mins after the finishing the meal and multiple staff looked through the window but never come out, as soon as we left in disgust and got to our car the staff come out to clear the table. Kids meals was cold and the corn on the cob was not cooked. All in all terrible food and terrible service.

The food was probably reheated three times before being served to me. Small portions and tasteless. The chicken tasted like rubber and the salad was dry grass from the garden (it really looked like that and I was afraid to eat it). The whole restaurant looks nice, the atmosphere is also ok, but the food is terrible. I will add that we came for a birthday meal to made our day, but it turned out to be completely the opposite.

Lovely staff who were really helpful. We did not have to wait long for the food and it was real food not a composite that some restaurants offer. I was able to change the fixed order to suit my dietary requirements. Very impressed.

visited today for a family meal, we all enjoyed our various meals, the food was lovely and tasty, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, we were served very efficiently and the whole place was clean and tidy, highly recommend that people visit and try for themselves.

The food is ok but I would say that I have been to other places which offer à better selection of lunch time dishes for similar money. The full meal option deal with a drink seems a better choice

We pre booked Christmas lunch , and was looking forward to it .
firstly we was seated at the wrong table and had to be moved,
The pub was rather quiet and empty and we only saw two staff on duty.
Our Christmas lunch arrived and looked nice but upon eating it some of the veg was on the firm side, the roast potatoes tasted like they had been dipped in the chip fryer, the food was rather bland and not very hot.
We asked if we could order hot drinks and add them to our bill but was told to go to the bar and order them ourselves !!
Having ordered them from the bar , the hot drinks machine wasn?t working and took a while to sort out, upon returning back to our table our desserts where served, one desert was missing the Icecream but upon looking around we didn?t see anyone to speak to , so we just ate it as it was,
The lady did eventually appear and when we mentioned the dessert to her she just said - sometimes we get confused with the menus !!
She said i can bring it now for you - errr NO , we have already finished eating and she then started stacking our coffee cups up to take away without even asking if we had finished !!
Its not the best meal I have had and was rather disappointed with the whole experience !!
Good customer service and a little attention to detail to make your customers feel welcome ensures a positive review and have customers returning .
