Why i shop at Tesco Haslingden. The parking is fantastic so easy and plenty of spaces you also feel close to the store. The shopping is leisurely. Home ware, clothing, make up everything you need.

In general, I like this store, and usually travel from Accrington to use, rather than the store in Accy town centre.
Overall the store is cleaner, the staff friendlier. It doesn't bother me that there isn't an electrical dept, though they could expand on their clothing choices for men.
The main bug bear I have with this store, whilst small, for me, is quite an issue.
When I shop, I do my best to use the self service till, which contrary to popular belief, frees staff up to fill shelves rather than loses jobs. But I've found that, even going through the self service, especially when you've not got any age restricted items, if you want a bag, you have to ask.
Now I get why they squirrel the bags away, there are many unscrupulous individuals who think it's ok not to scan a 30p bag. But the bottom line is that you've got to get someone's attention, wait for them to get and then bring over a bag, before I can proceed with my purchase.
And I've noticed that asda do this too (I'm not wealthy enough to shop at sainsburys, waitrose or Morrison's), and whilst it might be seen as a small inconvenience, it's an inconvenience all the same. Even worse when it seems their higher priced bags are just left out on display.

5 stars and more for Tesco. Day in, day out, year in, year out. It beggers belief the effort and sheer hard work to keep shelves stocked for us. Covid times, bless Tesco.

Very difficult oddly enough to find the car park exit at night, especially if you are new to it. You find yourself going up and down the two different levels trying to get out very confusing.

Customer service staff on 27/9/24 approx 6pm made me feel like a dodgy criminal for wanting to exchange some clothes which were gifted so I didn?t have the receipt! 3 of them crowded round the till and discussed whether or not ?she? can do the exchange and started whispering about me. Absolutely disgusting.

Just been in now for a shop and on the checkout was a lovely guy who asked which team I support, and was a very chatty guy. After being nearly forced into another car on the motorway on my way to the store this was a lovely welcome. Thank you for lifting my mood!
