Charity night dinner. Food was excellent. It was a really I've atmosphere for mid week. We've been here several times and always had a good experience. Highly recommended.

One of the nicest Indian meals I've had, very light and fresh, and perfectly cooked. Staff are very friendly, and the whole meal was never rushed. our first visit, but definitely not our last.

We pre ordered but still had to order on arrival. Garlic-less dishes. I had a garlic prawn starter, and couldn't taste any garlic. Garlic nans seemed to be garlic-less. The main king prawn garlic curry I ordered, oddly had no garlic!! I wrestled with the shell on a king prawn, but failed and left the rest. Although it was our family Xmas meal, I expected a slight delay, and wasn't disappointed. While we were finishing our sweet, we were asked to hurry up by the lady in charge, then she was rude to my wife whist paying. Not happy. The front of house lady, who seemed like she wasn't coping, doesn't take criticism too well. I will probably get a childish reply, as she has done with others.

Very disappointed with the treatment we just recieved here. We didn't book a table but when we walked in there was only about 12 people dining so we didn't think it would be an issue. A polite young waiter asked if we had booked and I told him we hadn't. He said it shouldn't be a problem and asked us to go to the bar area. As we turned to go to the bar, another man serving (I think he was in charge) looked at the waiter and shook his head and waved his arm at us. The young man then apologised and said sorry we don't have a table. No explanation or apology by the "man in charge", very unprofessional. We left and walked into Abdullah's which was much busier, yet they managed to get us a table.
We did enjoy the food at Anar Kali when we went at Christmas and was going to start coming here regularly.....not anymore.

Really enjoyed our visit. It was our first visit and we were made very welcome.The Food was fabulous and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Thank you Anarkali, we will certainly be returning.
