Whole family went for Sunday Lunch-got a great round table big enough for us all.
Service was quick and friendly.
Excellent menu and food to match the atmosphere.
We all enjoyed our meal will definitely come again.
Once we had finished eating the children played in the impressive garden and on the bouncy castle.

Went for a birthday celebration very disappointed the food was not good I ordered steak it was tough and I struggled to get through it hubby had fish and chips after the first bite he said this is a fish that?s been frozen also the chips were hard surely a chef can cook chips we were told later that most of the food is frozen won?t be going back

The ship recently hosted me and my family for our daughters Christening meal and they went absolutely above and beyond for us and our guests - we had a fabulous fabulous roast dinner spread (which everyone is still talking about now) and the staff looked after us so well. The area set up was gorgeous and there was just such a lovely atmosphere (not to mention the great outdoor space on such a lovely day!) well worth a visit! Thanks so much for looking after us so well! Really really special memories made better by your team.

We have been loads previously and always enjoyed our meals.
To be fair to the ship. It was Dead for a Sunday 4.30 pm and it can only be due to the weather. Thats why the atmosphere wasn't 5 star. They still had music playing and were welcoming.
Service was friendly although after dinner we did ask twice for the desert menu and it never came so we just got a Mc flurry on the way home. Which was probably for the best. As we needed the extra wait after the meal we just had.
The food was all very good, great portion size and seasoned perfectly. We got the kids roast chicken dinner which was enough for 2 small kids (5 and under), the chicken burger which was crunchy and great with the gravy on the side for dipping and the trio roast dinner ( chicken, pork and beef) veg was perfect as was the chicken and pork. The beef was a little chewy but I ate it all as it was flavorful. We also added mash and cauliflower cheese both were amazing.
Would definitely recommend a visit. I know we will be back.

OK, true be known I could be forgiven if I wrote a scathing review as we had some issues around our food order taking a VERY long time to arrive, however, as was explained the printer had run out of roll and had not printed ours out. Mistakes happen and I'm glad to say that as soon as the issue was pointed out to them they cracked into action and did everything that they could to make sure we enjoyed the evening...so based on that and the quality of the food we would happily recommend and revisit.

Ist visit here was really good, however decided to return again and didnt enjoy, the pub was not very busy so expected better service than we got, service was slow with servers seeming to lack attention, i had to get my own cutlery between courses, we were not asked if we wanted additional drinks etc and food wasnt of the same standard as previous visit, so for the price paid which was not cheap and the experience, we wont return again.

Visited for a christening in Sunday and the roast was absolutely incredible- best roast in a long time! Vegan / Vegetarian and Gluten Free options too which was amazing for our family with lots of dietary requirements! Super friendly staff and gorgeous garden at the back that got the sun all afternoon! Would 100% recommend!!!

Was looking forward to having food here ,staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn't ask for more .However the food was sub standard, beef was a task to eat vegetables were end of life it could of been more swallowable if there was more than a tablespoon of gravy ,cauliflower cheese was a paying extra which I thought was a kick in the dried roastys, not many options of condiments, mint sauce, apple sauce, horse radish ect .A carvery at another pub change is completely miles ahead and half the price. We just wanted something different change of scenery However spoilt what was a fantastic weekend with the family,
Over priced left overs I'd be embarrassed to serve that

Stood at bar after waiting a while was being served, ordered 2 drinks, gave me 1 drink then a person from a table came ask for bottle water, left me standing waiting for my other drink while she went and got a bottle water and took it to their table. ,,,,, REALLY,,, .. I'm sorry am I'm I not spending enough with food and second drinks , or don't I look posh enough to be treated a bit better, you could of made him wait until you had finished serving me..
