We stayed in their car park for 2 nights in our motorhome. A lovely pub , dog friendly . The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We had pate on toast, steak and ale pie , piping hot all the way through and very tasty. Likewise I had garlic mushrooms then pan seared chicken with a cream, leek and cheese sauce, again piping hot all the way through with chips and fresh veg. It was that good I still got the pleasant aftertaste of cheese 2 hrs later. Very morish.
The second day was a roast dinner with it being Sunday. Delicious even our dog (Mr T) was begging me for some.
All in all an excellent experience so I thought it only right to put £20 behind the bar for the staff. Will definately be back.

Whilst in Garstang we visited the Farmers Arms after reading the reviews on the food,
It certainly did not dissapoint.
My wife had the Fleetwood fish pie and I had the steak and ale pie.
This is homemade food and was absolutely delicious the fish pie was filled with fresh fish with a mash top with a touch of cheese with broccoli green beans and carrots the steak and ale pie was filled with big chunks of steak in a lovely gravy with a nice crust in its own dish with thick cut chips & veg.
We can highly recommended the Farmers Arms for food and will be calling again when we are in the area.

1st time visit to the Farmers Arms in Garstang. Lots of tables and plenty of space. There is also space outside to sit and eat/drink
Staff very nice and extremely helpful.
It was quiet when we arrived about 1 pm, so you tend to wonder why no one is eating.
However, we took a seat and ordered food.
Mushroom Soup, A PloughMans and thr Homemade Steak n Ale pie.
All absolutely outstanding. Not one single issue..
This is a definite 100% recommend.

Ordered Fish and chips and Fish Pie. Both terrible. If you can't make an enjoyable main for £15 you're in the wrong job. Gave a star as the girl serving us was very polite.

Had some food in the daytime and found this was a great place to stop for a bite.
Generous portions well made, nice to eat somewhere that cares about food and serve you well.
Sorry no pics but the sub £10 jacket potatoes we had with either mushroom+garlic or tuna mayo with salad trimming were very nice, also a stroganoff looked well made too and enjoyed by the other half. Far beyond quality of stuff we have had in Marstons type of pubs in our own area.

The wake for my mother in laws funeral was held here this afternoon. Fabulous buffet, as everyone remarked. Nothing too much trouble for the lovely staff. Thankyou so much

Quiet. Darts and Dominoes teams playing. Barmaid was efficient and friendly.

Food was good, took a long time to arrive. Service was poor. We weren't told about unavailable meals, until we ordered them. We had to ask how to order etc. Our booked table was given to other guests.

Decent pint of cask ale at time of visit.

When looking at local menus, we chose this place because it seemed best for vegetarian options. We weren't disappointed and were greeted by very friendly staff and delicious food that arrived quickly.
