Plots was a good size.. electric approximately £5 per night on top of £38 per night.. Great little pub onsite with good reasonable food.. quite noisy with trains and especially the M6 motorway... 4 fishing ponds but don't expect anything special I would say its mainly for children to get their hand in... lovely clean toilets and showers albeit a little dated... lovely friendly reception staff also.. a few nice walks in the area too..

We took our motorhome so can't comment on rooms but a very nice and clean site . We didn't get to try the onsite pub as it doesn't open on a Monday.4 ponds which actually have fish in unlike so many sites that advertise fishing but don't actually have any fish in their ponds , they are very small ponds so don't offer much sport however they would be ideal for someone being taught ?

Our first caravan trip in our newly purchased caravan. Lovely site with nice and peaceful atmosphere. Management were brilliant and let us have a later check out due to heavy rain. Nobody wants to pack a van up in a monsoon lol. 20 miles away from Blackpool. Will definitely be coming back in the future. On site bar and restaurant we purchased a few drinks but unfortunately didn't try out the meals although it smelt absolutely scrumptious from outside. Thanks for having us

Never been camping before but I'm assuming this is one of the best. Large plots for your tent, extremely clean and tidy and the pub does decent food which is a bonus

Great site. Clean and well kept. Friendly owners and staff. Stepping Stones restaurant excellent value and tasty food especially Thursday pizzas.

Stayed here a couple of days ago for three nights in the caravan and really liked it. Live quite local but felt like you were miles away! Quiet and peaceful. Lovely setting and location. Brilliant little walk across the river to Scorton. Great restaurant with a lovely chef who let me purchase some Italian style sauce!Andrew was a marvellous support when my friend and I hitched up to leave - I've never done this without my husband before, so I was nervous about this. Toilets and free showers and free hairdryer are clean.Will definitely pop back. It was a lovely relaxing break.

We stayed here in our touring caravan for the second time, and loved it the pitches are spacious with fully serviced options, there is a park for the kids very clean shower blocks and a great pub on site. They also do great food in the restaurant. The site is a 5 min drive to garstang.

We stayed here because it was reasonably priced. It is a lovely clean site, the toilet/shower block is very clean, even having background music playing. The touring pitches are reasonably spaced, but you do need screw in pegs for awnings as ground is very hard.

Went camping and used as a base to climb Scarfel. Beautiful site and scenery, very clean everywhere. Site pub is well priced and great food. Fishing lakes are well stocked and lots of chances to catch. Well recommend
