My first time dealing with Silk Mill Garage and have to say the whole expirance was easy and stress free. Julian waxoyled my Ford Ranger and did a fantastic job, very knowledgeable about his work and professionally completed. Was initially recommended to him and wasn't disappointed.

Spoken to Julian several times on the phone and he talked me through at great lengths on what was going to be done to my vehicle which required a Full underbody steam clean and then dry off and then Full Waxoil treatment. Arrived to drop off vehicle and collect a courtesy car as I lived some 30-35 miles away. It is a refreshing change to meet someone who is passionate about his work and his business rather than some glorified service person sat behind a desk who doesn?t really understand what they are selling nor what the customers expectations are really.Could not recommend Julian highly enough!!! 5stars from me!!!!Service: Car waxing

I called up and explained the type of work needed. Customer service on the phone was poor but I let it go. They were only willing to accept customers who are very local. They took my name, car details and booked in the date with me. I then confirmed the date/ time for drop off and was told "forget it, I don't want the job". They hung up with no further explanation. Rude and unprofessional...

Well pleased with the steam cleaning derided my Jeep Grand Cherokee plus waxoyl the carriage undercoating not cheap but what a great job loved the owner with many tiles to tell he even gave me a courtesy car a little Saxo don?t use it lol. I will be returning for servicing etc was very impressed with the results

What a total sh`tshow of a garage. There were so many things wrong I barely know where to begin, but a basic lack of professionalism underpins all of the issues. I've taken my car to this garage for several issues. Last time was for a service; a week or so later I was driving down the motorway and I pulled off because my car was veering to one side. I checked my tyres and they were ranging between 43 and 26 psi - the garage had just eyeballed the air pressure for my tyres - very dangerous and could have killed me.I put this issue aside and took my car to the garage for an mot. Not only did they carry out work on my car without asking me first (drilling out and replacing wheel nuts), they had four men emptying and looking in the belongings in my car without my permission. They then charged my £180 for 1.5 hours labour.To add insult to injury, I found out when I collected my car that the mot had not been carried out by the garage I had left my car with, but some guy called 'Billy'.As if further insult to injury was needed, I had 25 fewer miles in my petrol tank thank when I had dropped the car off.In short, do not leave your car at this garage if you don't want to pay extortionate fees for unauthorised work and someone (maybe Billy, maybe someone else, who knows?!) routing through your car and clocking up the mileage without your permission, and being charged £339 for the priveledge (£180 of which was for 1.5hrs work, apparently).AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
