We visited this week, which incidentally is only 3 weeks into the new landlords being in the pub. There were 3 generations with a variety of food tastes and all were able to choose from the menu. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. Service was brilliant and the landlords were approachable and sociable which was lovely. They are so keen to make this pub what it should be and are creating some great events and menu's. The next time we are in the UK we will be trying to call for Sunday lunch as it sounds amazing! Thankyou for a lovely lunch and a chance to spend time with family in a lovely environment. We will be back.

Popped in on way home from Lytham.
Two great meals. Best steak wife has had in months and steak and ale pie up there with best I've ever had. Would recommend dining here.

We had another delicious meal here tonight, roast dinner, burger and gammon. Service was great, so friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

Friendly pub with pool table, outdoor tables and serving food. The food is decent. I had the seafood risotto which was pretty good. My family really enjoyed the steak pie!

Never having visited The Clifton in our 18 months living in Lytham, we chose this venue for a light lunch to meet up with friends who had travelled up from the South. We scored big time. Immediately on entering we were warmly greeted by Chris who was non stop as bar man and assistant with looking after customers who were dining for lunch. Our friends arrived after us and Chris kindly pointed out where we were sitting then presented us with the menu and also the lunch time light bites choice. Both menus were quite impressive but we opted for the light bites and were more than happy with our choice. The two girls both had the gammon with all the extras whilst ?Gordie?? and myself opted for the steak which was cooked to perfection, moist, tender and wonderfully tasty. For under £10 we voted it a great bargain. The place was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the calm way in which the staff went about their business, we weren?t rushed and our drinks were on the table within 2 mins of asking. In The Clifton we have found a new ?local? and Chris and his crew will certainly be seeing more of us?thanks guys.

This was a dip in and out of the water with your toe experience. I was in CAW for less that 30 mins, a friends partner had suddenly passed, and wanted to show my support!
