Staff are always friendly, welcoming and efficient.They?re happy to deal with any enquiries you might have and always have the prescribed items you need. I reside in Thornton Cleveleys and find this is the best pharmacy and in the area.

Today as I was waiting for my flu and covid jabs I was watching the 2 ladies on the customer facing part of the pharmacy and obviously busy dealing with a variety of customers and all we're shown total respect and care and I realised that you forget this from a lot of different pharmacy's because it's now rare to see so I hope this matters especially to the 2 ladies to know that it was recognised. Also the lady that gave me the jabs was very nice too and generally a friendly atmosphere.

Couldn?t organise a booze up in a brewery. Phoned on Friday for meds for 2 people, went to collect on Monday one was ready, and had to wait for the other to be picked and checked. Obviously no system in place to pick prescriptions in the order they are requested.

Staff are very friendly and service very good,but there?s always something missing from our prescriptions every month which is very annoying,After my holidays this month we are thinking of changing pharmacies.

A couple of years ago O'Brien's opened a branch in Bispham. Thought it would be convenient for us living locally to use this chemist. What a mistake, being elderly we are both on regular medication but it appears that this branch do not seem to stock items that are regularly needed. Most times our prescription were e mailed to the branch we would go in to collect and only part of the order was available "come back tomorrow and we will have it ". A lot of the time our prescription would be made up of bits and pieces, as if they had been round other shops to make up the order. Some staff are great, others need some training in customer care and good manners. Latest episode, went to collect my medication, 1 out of 3 items available, next day nothing available 3rd day item 2 available, we then get a lecture from the duty chemist about being the only customer who has this medication and they can't afford to have it sat on the shelves because it is £26 wasted if I don't collect it !! This lady just kept talking over us when we tried to discuss the problem with her , it was like a Sten gun rattling away , she really needs to go to the charm school and learn some manners.4th day item 3 was available, new chemist on duty both her and the assistant were completely different full of apologies etc. So as a result such terrible service its "Goodbye O'Brien's" and I'm sorry, I can't wish you well, there is far too much competition for you to survive.

I rang O'Brien's 10 times to try and get my prescription delivered,the phone was not answered once.Could somebody explain this appalling service?

Attentive and caring staff who know what they are talking about. I am unable to collect my medication at the moment so I phoned about having it delivered. The lady who answered was very polite and helpful and said it was no problem and they would deliver it the next day. Highly recommended.

My husband and I required numerous vaccinations for our upcoming travels to Indonesia and Malaysia. From the moment of phoning O'brien's to discuss what vaccinations were needed, to our final appointment (4 in total), we couldn't be more satisfied with the service. I am utterly needle phobic, and yet Andrew, the pharmacist who has administered all 8 injections over the course of the 4 appointments, has been amazing; he completely understood my phobia and made each visit as bearable as possible for me. Cannot thank him enough! Great service.

Kind caring helpful staff, even during busy times. Always pleasant, even during stressful times, have a good range of stock and when they didn?t stock something I needed urgently they went above and beyond to obtain it for me, was so grateful for their help and understanding. Work hard to keep any queues down to a minimum and always on hand to explain instructions on dosage etc and friendly enough to approach for items you can?t find. Always received a great prompt friendly service. Thank you to all your staff, keep up the great work ?x

I have used O?Briens Pharmacy for a number of years now and rather surprised to see negative reviews but hey ho each to their own.Had a Covid-19 vaccine (other elsewhere), the Covid booster, flu jab and found the staff to be courteous and professional.Yes it can be busy and you might have to wait but isn?t that a good sign?I have my prescriptions delivered which always arrive in a timely manner and delivered by a friendly chap.

The staff working in O?Brien?s Pharmacy are kind, courteous and extremely helpful; I have had many changes to my prescription and Karen has always effected the alterations very quickly and without any mistakes, ever. Whilst at the pharmacy the staff have always been so lovely to speak with they have always had time for a kind word or quip no matter how busy or long their queue has been. Sam always has a cheeky grin from behind the dispensing counter and always has time for some pleasant banter. The Pharmacist and his team, apologies that I cannot name them all individually, are just as welcoming and lovely with their pleasantries; there are no platitudes which could be misunderstood they are such professionals at the same time they know their regular customers extremely well and greet us in a delightfully friendly chatty manner at the same time continuing with their work so as not to hold up anyone else who may be waiting to be served. What an asset to the team the new member Sean has been, he is such a delightful kind young man for whom nothing is too much trouble he has helped me to my car during a horrendous gale force wind; he is always ready with mine and my husbands? prescriptions when he sees me heading towards the Pharmacy, and he always has such a lovely turn of phrase with his conversation, nothing flusters him and he is kindness itself with any of his customers no matter how controversial they are being with him he keeps his calm and repeats the information they are seeking until they comprehend what they have been told many times over. I cannot praise the staff at O?Brien?s highly enough and any negative comments from other reviewers are in my opinion out of place and unacceptable. It seems the occasional customer wants to tarnish the excellent reputation of O?Brien?s Pharmacy which is unkind unfair and undeserving so please if you have read to the end of my review take a chance and visit this pharmacy for yourself and please form your own opinion, you will I am sure be pleasantly surprised. You will receive a very positive vibe as you get your prescription dispensed, it won?t be a waste of your time as others suggest and you won?t find it a dirty floored establishment in need of a complete overhaul to bring it up to some sort of standard ? those standards are met and the pharmacy is over and above those standards being met to ensure a positive pleasant experience for customers who may not be feeling at their best when they go in to O?Brien?s, the staff will do their best to give you a smooth transaction which will hopefully make you believe my review and opinion of the place and as such you too will become a regular customer willing to also write a positive review showing those negative comments to be unfounded and untrue.Long may the staff at O?Brien?s continue to give us, the customers, the pleasant positive service we have come to expect each time we visit . Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for me I am so grateful for everything and appreciate all of the team for so many reasons!
