“Just returned from a 5 night stay at Cala Gran! Was a family trip away to celebrate my birthday, two adults and two toddlers! Staying in a two bedroom caravan (No.4 Stannah). Check in was smooth and we arrived to our lovely, cosy and CLEAN caravan! Caravan was really clean; beds clean and all made up; toilets etc, all clean. Felt very warm and cosy ❤️ caravan had one very large double bedroom with a en-suite shower and toilet, and a walk in wardrobe too, and a small second room with two single beds in, the caravan also had two deckings, just a shame the weather was so bad that we couldn’t make the most of them! We loved our stay and we loved that caravan! We had a problem one morning when the boiler wouldn’t work, called reception and they sent someone out straight away to fix it, which was great! Would love to stay in No 4 Stannah again, it felt like home! The actual site at Cala Gran could do with some work though, the children’s playground is just depressing, and could do with a serious upgrade! The arcade is brilliant; and there’s a soft play section in there too which is also good, but can get over run with older children, and no staff around to tell them otherwise. I found going later at night was better, seemed to be quiet then Also had a few meals in Mash and Barrel too. Thought the food was lovely, shout out to Lana and Lynn who were lovely and made a fuss of my kids; one of them is also called Lana! Drinks are expensive in here however; but kids eat for £1 and they have a deal on at the moment, two meals for £18, so we made the most of that! This is my second visit to Cala Gran this year, and will certainly be back again soon!”
