Great food and service. Coped really well with our very large party at lunchtime. All our food was served together and was piping hot. Really good value too.

If you want a good old authentic dining pub experience then go on a Friday evening and dine in style with the young farmers effing and jeffing and boasting of their sloppy seconds on a girl whilst chuffing merrily away on their electronic cigarettes. It created the perfect ambience The waitress was lovely though and the food was ok. Cheese pie was over done and was as hard as a pork pie . If you want a sweet and sour dish, then go for the Veg thai green curry.Couldn't get near the bar as every local man and his dog were propping it up.Nice real ale though.Sorry.

Traditional pub with restaurant attached. Very extensive menu along with a small bites menu and at least 15 specials on the wall. We both ate from the main menu and chose lasagne and a mixed grill. Waited a while but was worth it as the food arrived piping hot(on warm plates!)and freshly cooked and the portions were generous. Both really good. The lady who looked after us worked both the bar and restaurant and worked tirelessly to look after everyone and was cheerful and helpful. Would most definitely recommend! Xx

It was pretty quiet when we called but people were having meals and the vibe was friendly and relaxed. There is some outside seating and plenty of parking spaces. Worth calling in if you are passing. We didn't try the food.

Excellent meal for our family of six. We all had different things. The food was good, the service was good and the surroundings were good. We will definitely go again.

A great pub with some good beers and great atmosphere, we had the best Sunday lunch ever it was massive and delicious this place is a gem well worth our 45 min walk from our hotel

Have not been to this pub/ restaurant for a while, and it used to be a great place to eat. We went just recently and had a very poor meal, supposed to be chicken tikka it was more like chicken and onions with gravy and a small spoonful of curry powder, has to be the worse?s chicken tikka I have ever had. There used to be a lovely display of sweets under the counter, but not anymore. We did wonder why the place was so quiet and empty, now we know why, it was a terrible meal and we will,not be returning anytime soon.
