Absolutely the best meal we have been served locally for long long time, the homemade cheese and onion pie and steak pudding were delicious and actually hand cut REAL chips and green veggies of the day, will definitely be returning soon for another truly delicious meal. Thank you to the chefs who cooked the meal and the bar staff, keep up the great work.

Had three lovely meals here whilst on holiday near by , they were very obliging, meals were great and good selection of ales . Service was good and it had a nice friendly atmosphere,thanks to owner and staff

We stopped for lunch at The White Bull in Gisburn, England, and it was a fantastic experience. We had the Cajun chicken sandwich, which was absolutely delicious?full of flavour and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we tried the Baileys cream profiteroles, and they were truly outstanding?rich, indulgent, and spectacular in every way. Highly recommended!

Also Ladies toilet needs checking regularly as it was unpleasant to use.

Lovely, welcoming pub. Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent food, great choice available and beautifully presented. Superb value for money. Lovely to see a bar full of young people enjoying a night out.

Called in for food clean nice pub 2 course each at £19 each 1 wine 1 alcohol free berry and cherrys so bill was 52.40 so £14.40 for 2 drinks is a bit steep can see why it's not busy shame as would have gone back for food but not been ripped off for drinks

We arrive at the White Bull on a Sunday evening whilst passing through, restaurant was quiet and there was nothing to suggest that you had to wait to be seated aswell as staff noticing us so we found our own table, after sitting down we were approached and told we had to wait to see if he had a table available for us due to bookings which thankfully ended up not being an issue. We then were given 4 menus for our family of 5 including a child, we had to ask if there was a children?s menu available as we weren?t given one. After placing our food order we than had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our food to arrive with no warnings or updates, the table behind us had waited over 15 minutes for their soup starters too. When food arrived it was lovely, hot and fresh and we were asked if we needed anything else. The only thing that spoiled the food was the amount of flies hovering around, there was no open doors so not sure why this was an issue. The womens toilets were also dirty, had urine over the seat and one of the locks was broken making only 1 stall okay to use. This was a shame considering how lovely our food was, we must?ve just caught them on a bad day.

First night ham hock pie, chicken supreme ?.
Sunday night 2 Sunday roasts and 2 desserts, both spot on, Eton mess, and profiteroles.
The white Bull is a traditional country pub, good food beer and hospitality
