Saw the great Ruby Turner here. Fantastic!!! First time I've been to this venue but will definitely be back. Clean, comfortable will excellent facilities.

The acoustics compared well with the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester and the Lowry in Salford

The Grand is an excellent music venue. There's always been a really good, civilised & relaxed atmosphere when we've been there to watch various bands over the years.

Absolutely amazing night, watched Ultimate Coldplay. You'd of thought it was the real Chris Martin. Breathtaking performance, they had the crowd in the palm of Thier hands. Just amazing ?????

We went to see a Christmas Carol performed by Saltmine. Absolutely brilliant, the best show I've seen in years. Very funny and tremendous acting. The Grand is a classy venue, comfortable seats and reasonably priced bar. The free iced water was really appreciated in the interval.

Thoroughly enjoyed 'Christmas Carol' great acting with that seasonal message of showng kindness to others.As an aside I must mention the young lady on reception who pointed out that I had overpaid for the performance and at the interval gave me a refund.I was totally impressed with her friendly & personable manner.An absolute credit to the Grand & a fine ambassador.Thanks once againfor providing such great family entertainment.

A great band (The Swing Commanders) with a diverse repertoire to entertain many musical flavours and lead was slightly charismatic. Chairs were not terribly comfortable not uncomfortable. Drinks queue was quite long. Venue was well kept and airy and volunteers very attentive and courteous. Great spot for more musical and theatrical performances.
