I loved this place when it first opened. Went today for breakfast. I had booked a table. Its not clear what to do, no wait here to be seated sign. 3 staff were milling around but didn't seem interested I had arrived. Took 15 mins for a pot of tea to arrive after ordering and about 30 mins for a cooked breakfast. People arrived after ne got their order before me. It didn't seem overly busy. Breakfast was nice but not very hot. Got impression staff not that bothered.

Food was lovely if not a lottle pricey. We were in a big group and food came out together ish. Service was slow. The decoration is great. Overall I would say worth a visit, if you don't mind slow service. They did get my order a little wrong but didn't mind that much.

Normally I love this place but a recent visit had us waiting 50
minutes for dessert to come even though we ask and they said it would be right out. Another 20 minutes still no dessert. We just paid up and left.

I was pleasantly surprised by the seafood platter - it was incredibly tasty and fresh. I will definitely be returning for another visit.

Just visited today and won't be going back.
Had to ask for drinks order to be taken after a long wait, then when the drinks finally arrived no glasses, another long wait and they never arrived.
Several things on the menus not available even though orders taken and then not told for another 20 min !!
Starters cold when they eventually did arrive and another big wait (two hours in total) before the mains arrived.
No cutlery before either course and had to get up and ask twice before some arrived for the main course.
Sandwiches ordered were at best very average and chicken on the sub was very dry.
Not enough staff and other than one helpful girl who did her best, the rest seemed either out of their depth or just couldn't be bothered.
Desert order for a child never arrived.
Really poor and disappointing from a place that we used to enjoy going to.

Really disappointing visit, table booking via the sister hotel missing, given a table it took 15 mins for our drinks to arrive and we had to wait 45mins for our starters to arrive, luckily our mains arrived a little quicker. From 7:30pm until circa 9:50pm for 2 courses and 2 drinks not really acceptable service.

Tasteless, burnt pizzas and a 25 minute wait for a bottle of wine. Could only eat the middle of the pizza as the crust was like concrete.

The place is beautiful, the food is mediocre, the staff are terrible. Waited ages to be served by miserable staff, food was cold and the order was mixed up. The manager was more interested in moving her car so not to get a ticket than what was happening in the restaurant...it is a shame as this place could be a real treat, however, the staff need to be taught that when in a customer facing role be pleasant and warm towards your customers and not like we have just tread dog muck through the door. 40 mins wait for 2 cold pizzas and fries is not acceptable as well as the 25 min wait for a drink, felt like we were interrupting their social life

We had the winter escape deal for this stay and we honestly were made to feel like that meant we were not cared about. We were speaking to a lovely gentleman at the till near the bar who changed the bottle of wine to two free drinks each as I?m pregnant and couldn?t drink wine. But we were seated behind two pillars on the smallest table right near the stairs and the chairs where the only ones without back support like they?d last minute shoved this table there. We were squished in as the table for two next to us were far too close. We ordered our starters and two pasta dishes for mains and asked for garlic bread extra with the mains. We then got served our starters and was told the garlic bread was coming out, it came out and my partner said we wanted it with the mains and the waitress rudely said ?oh sorry? and walked off. The garlic bread was stone cold by the time the mains come out (the pasta was soggy as well I didn?t eat it). I ordered a virgin pornstar martini and the waitress came and stared at our three empty glasses and tried to find somewhere on the tiny table to place my drink I had to move my starter and napkins to the point they were hanging off and she just walked off past the bar but left the three empty glasses and plates. I got to the point I took the empties and left them on the bar myself. My boyfriend had his jacket over his chair that was knocked off TWICE by passing staff and not one apology. I?ve never been ANYWHERE with such bad service. The staff are rude. When we went to pay for our extras we said we were leaving without the dessert that was part of the package and the waitress just looked at us so rudely. So upsetting this was a 30th birthday gift and we saved it for valentines time on purpose and the entire evening was ruined. Never again and I would never recommend a place like this. Average food and OK service. I had a fish finger sandwich which came on a over-toasted (hard) ciabata, with the fish actually being goujons - whilst the fish itself was nice it was over-battered which didn't supply the comforting mouth feel of a fish finger sandwich. My partner had calamari which was edible. Both our side salads were limp and unappealing. My partner ordered a parmesan salad but received a bowl of potatoes?! We also had aspin fries which were rather bland. The service was OK but not very attentive, for example we weren't asked if we'd like any sauces and no check was done to see if everything was OK.

This is a very nice place to come and eat have a chat with friends, or take someone special out, the interior is different this gives it the 5* atmosphere in here. The food was okay nothing to complain about but not 5* we really enjoyed our meal here, and will come back again. The service wasn?t so good as we had expected long wait for to take our order for our desserts, in the end we actually gave up and paid and left a shame really, this was the only thing that was wrong. Overall it?s a nice place to come and get some things to eat.

Great place, great food,but when busy, you can wait upto an hour for food service, don't let this put you off because the staff are superb and the manager will go out of his way to help with whatever you need.
Definitely go again.
