I needed an inflatable collar to stop my dog nibbling a wound on my way back from the vet's. One of the staff members found me a collar and helped me get some food for my dog too. I didn't get their name, but they were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. For me, it's definitely worth a Five Star review.

Great shop ? very helpful staff . Was in last week with my mum to buy some tropical fish for her tank . The lady that served us obviously understood fish and was quite knowledgeable. We bought 6 Harlequin Tetras and an Albino Corydoras. Granular food and a glass Fishtank Thermometer.
Some products seem a little expensive ? but the fish and other related items are very competitive. Great choice and very healthy fish . On a great little estate, plenty of free parking, with a large Aldi next-door ?

Sold me fish which were infected and a lot of my other fish died . They then tried to say it was tank size when they have 30+ fish cramped in a small tank - mine is 180l. They say they can get away because it's 'one big tank' then try to lie when I pointed out that it wasn't. All the insects are dead or dying -crickets and locust in the reptile section -which they blamed on the supplier . So ,if you want dead fish, shop here. Funny, since I've used a small' corner shop' type store - ideal pet store -no issues at all. Don't be fooled by big brand name - another store which is destined to be 'off the high street ' in upcoming months.

For a standard pets at home outlet, I found the staff here very friendly and very helpful on products when needing to enquire about a familiar one.
Was quite nice to walk around a pet store and see that the place is clean and presentable with no urine hazards across the Isles like some pets at home stores I've been to.
Plenty of free parking as well and pin pointed with Google maps accurately.. Compared to a sat nav that designates it on opposite side of road.

Maggie on the tills- I admire your enthusiasm for the Pets at Home VIP club charity thing but I think before you go full Geldof on customers it might be worth considering that some folk simply don?t want to tell you their postcode in a crowded shop when they need to get home to walk the dog and out the tea on. It doesn?t necessarily mean they hate animal charities ?

Afraid the most recent experience was terrible, long queue despite plenty of staff in the store and no attempt to get another member of staff to help at the till to reduce wait time. Asked the guy at the till about a product which was out of stock to be told no idea when would be back in stock, I asked when deliveries arrived and he said no guarantees the product would be on these and that he had no idea what stock was arriving until it arrived. Extremely unhelpful, unfriendly and I won?t be returning to pets at home clitheroe as a result. Think some customer service training needed.
